Hey everyone,

everytime I want to start a new BG1 game with BGT the game crashes directly after the intro video (the one with Sarevok throwing this poor guy down the roof). I get the the BG logo and writing and I even hear the birds from the music theme sing. At the time the logo is already faded. But before I get the map of Candlekeep or get the intro text the game freezes.

I'm using BGT in version 1.06 and the german version of BG and BG II. I had some tries of reinstalling the games and uninstalliing BGT and reinstalling it but without success. Any hints?

Thank you in advance.

A text screen normally shows up after the intro video.
Can you post the textual contents of your WeiDU.log? Also, what language of BGT-WeiDU have you installed?

Yep, this text screen does not show up. The game freezes before.
During the installation of BGT-WeiDU i chose german as language. I didn't install any other mod than BGT-WeiDU.

You might try installing Fixpack before BGT.

Ok, it works now. The reason was no BGT-WeiDU problem, but a general BG II problem and the incompatibility to my graphics driver. Sorry guys, I should have checked that before.

But I got another problem now. After playing a while, clearing Nashkel Mines and talking to Berrum Ghastkill Tranzig did not show up. I had a look into my journal and noticed, that I seem to be stuck in chapter 1. Chapter 2 did not start when I entered Nashkel the first time and chapter 3 did not start after killing Mulahey and reporting to Berrum Ghastkill. There were no intro texts for both chapter, I just did not realize it at first, because I did not pay attention :(

Edit: Could the problem be caused by leaving Candlekeep with MoveToAre to Lion's Way (AR6600)?The game crashed everytime I went with Gorion, so I used the console. Therefore I didn't see the fight against Sarevok, of course.

Edit: I went back to Candlekeep with MoveToArea and Strg + J and talked to Gorion again. This time i was able to go with him, the Sarevok scene took place and chapter 2 started, I went back to nashkel and chapter 3 started. But Tranzig and Commander Vai are still missing. Through being stuck in chapter 1 something with the trigger went wrong when I spoke to Berrum Ghastkill, I guess. But I can't speak to him again, as he walked away :( Can somebody tell me the variable I need to set back (with Shadow Keeper), so that the game thinks I didn't talk to Berrum yet? I could try it again, then.
