Lions Way Central and A raven tower. I took that idea from a song of ice and fire where the post network was led by using ravens trained to transpot letters and notes.

Is that the finished product, or are you going to edit it some more? Because I don't know about you, but to me the trees and general vegetation look a bit detached from the rest of the picture. As if they're just stuck on like...well, stickers. The worst examples of that are the ones in the middle of the picture, in between the roads, and north-west of the broken tower. Especially the yellow ones. But also the green one to the right of that broken tower. I think it *might* be that the shadows they throw are too hard for the type of surface it is falling on - shadows on grass, and uneven surface, would not be as distinct as ones on a smooth floor, especially not at the time of day that their position on that picture would indicate. But it might also be some other thing causing them to look so detached.

Thx dude.
As for the trees. I find that the bright ones especially tend to pop out when viewing a scaled down image of the area. When it's real size, it seems to be far smoother with the background. I already use very soft undetailed shadows on the grass, not the super sharp ones which look a bit unrealistic.

What are your thought in their true size? All crit welcomed.

Your trees, are a bit similiar to each other. I think, that the yellow ones, must be a little higher than the red ones. In nature, there's no same trees, like rocks, or grass.

You should look at the BG maps...all of the trees are similar. I think this is a huge improvement.

As far as I can tell, there are only 2 trees copied in the whole area. That's pretty good going. It;s impossible to never reuse a tree mesh. I just don't have enuogh for that. If you do reuse one. As long as they aint side by side, you would never notice in in real size. Same with rocks. I have hundreds but all rocks are pretty similar right?

The yellows in these two are still a bit "jumpy" in full size. The other trees are alright, you are right. The green one in the middle one is close to the border of being jumpy, but it will do. :)

Don't let a Geologist hear that! :P

I just tried desaturating the colour from the reds and yellows a little. I think it looks a bit better now. I think the reds especially were a little too POP. That really shows when a tree stands alone. When it is bunched, it isn't such an issue. Also, I know that there's alot of rather large mushrooms as well as small but I think they look cool. Check out the mushroom to the right of the farm with ivy creeping all over it. Can you say large hehe
