"i haven't seen a crashing on the infscreens with editing the ui's yet, interesting. I'll see if i can do anything.
You could try to replace the guistore.chu in the override folder with the one in pst-1280x800-ui/backup.
Also, try delete dfell.dlg from the override folder to see if it's faulty.
Are you on 2 cd version btw?"

When I used the guistore.chu from pst-1280x800 version it still crashed but know the error says something about controls now.
Fell's shop is not the only problem. All shop interface's in the hive crash(save Emoric's since I haven't gotten to that part yet)
I am using the 4cd version.

I found a temporary(it's tolerable) solution by deleting guistore.chu in the override.
The Store Interface doesn't crash anymore but of course every time I enter a shop the interface would be on the top left.

I'll get used to it. ;)

I'll check back here if you guys have more info.

Thanks again.

It still puzzles me =/ wrong chu files would crash on ui as you've experienced with the widescreen's store (which neeed some different images that's why it crashed), but it excludes the possiblility of the dlg being faulty (as it had to run through in order to the ui crash).

EDIT: Ok I messed up, the guistore that is included with the 1280x768 version was indeed wrong. I got a bit confused with taplonaplo speaking about the 1280x800 version while Sicatrix spoke about the 1280x768 version. The correct guistore.chu for the 1280x768 UI is this one : Attached File  guistore_1280x768.rar   1.92K   310 downloads . I'll also add the corrected mod in the first post.

I've uploaded the correct version in the first post, I'll soon make a new version combining both 1280x800 and 1280x768 version into one weidu mod.

Sicatrix tell me is everything allright now?

Thanks Icen. You didn't have any problems with the store dialog when you used the old 1280x768 version?

Thanks for your work with this mod, first of all. I'm eager to try it out, but I'm having problems with the installation.

I'm using a 4cd version of the game with the official patch. I then installed the All Inclusive Fixpack and next the Widescreen mod.

When I try to install this UI mod for the 1280x768 resolution, it doesn't install. The debug file mentions "NOT INSTALLED DUE TO ERRORS PST UI with default fonts".

I've tried changing to 1280x800 and installing this mod. It works fine, but at that resolution some of the screen gets cut-off at the bottom. Playing at that res is not an option
for me. 1280x768 is just right on my 22" widescreen.

Any ideas?

can you check
...\GhostDog's-PST-UI\TPH\UI_files_x768.tph ?
if you have this:

// .MOS Files (UI Backgrounds) (21 files)
COPY ~GhostDog's-PST-UI.tp2/UI_files/MOS_(UI_Backgrounds)~ ~override~

change it to be this:

// .MOS Files (UI Backgrounds) (21 files)
COPY ~GhostDog's-PST-UI/UI_files/MOS_(UI_Backgrounds)~ ~override~

tho it should have been already fixed, i think i dled my version yesterday from main page

Damn, there has been a mixup with the version I uploaded and the one that is now for download is the one with the bug. I'm uploading again the correct version. If you want to fix it quickly yourself follow taplonaplo's instructions.

Thanks a lot, taplonaplo! This worked like a charm.

Cheers
