So, tell me something about this mod.

Stivan the Hunter is a mod for Baldur's Gate 2.

Who is Stivan?

Stivan is the halfing you find in the Docks. Now he is a joinable character. Stivan used to live in a large Halfling family, and dreamed to be a Bard. Unfortunately, his family was killed by seagulls, forcing Stivan into a life on the streets, where he was forced to learned how to pick pockets, cut throats, and defend himself from the guards. His bitterness manifests itself with insults to other members of the party, as well as being uneasy in opening himself to others (and, obviously, being a sworn enemy of gulls).

Is this an halfing who hates... seagulls?

Yes. Any problems?

All right, all right. Can CHARNAME romance him?

No. The child of Bhaal can have a relationship with him, but don't expect Stivan is always friendly with you, especially if you are a beliver (cleric and paladin) or if you serve Nature (ranger and druid).

Class? Portrait? Stats?
He's a Chaotic Neutral Halfling Fighter/Thief. His stats, proficiencies and thief skills are currently to be defined, but will be suited to fit his current street life.

Probably not, unless we think something cool to do.

Personal quest?
He'll have a personal quest in SoA, exact details (including wether it'll be one quest or multiple ones) are still to be defined.


Technical

Who's working on it?

Valerio Bigiani "The Bigg" and Giuseppe are the current authors (respectively taking care of coding and writing). Other people who have helped are Archmage Silver (author the portrait) and Galactycon (coding help).

Do I require BG2 Fixpack or Baldurdash? What about ToB?

It will be tested with Throne of Bhaal and BG2 Fixpack; however, neither is a requirement (meaning that we'll help SoA-only players, or Baldurdash players, or...).

Is this mod in Weidu format?

Yes, it is.

Will he be voiced?

We plan to, but this obviously depends on finding a voice actor.

Is it compatible with X, Y mod?

Ideally, Stivan should work with all mods under the sun. When we finish our work and release this mod, there will be a comprehensive compatibility guide.

Will he have cross-mod content?

There will be cross-mod banters if the other NPC authors are willing to authorize us. Also, Stivan will comment about the quests from select mods.

When will it be ready?
Tuesday.
