I've been told that the Big World project is the best way to play a megamod. I was wondering if anyone here who's played through as many of the mods as possible along with the big world project-installs, can tell me how buggy it is? I'm just curious as, initially, I was planing on installing all the major mods, with their newest versions so as to avoid bugs as much as possible, whereas the big world project forces one, in some cases, to install some earlier versions.

As far as the Big World project instructions, I would use those and omit what you want. A lot of older mods have been updated and are downloadable by the BWP links. The instructions are well done to describe what can be left out as long as the order isn't changed.
You will come across some bugs and they can be minor mostly. Plus you have the BWP fixpack with submitted fixes to overwrite files before installation. You can do it manually or use the auto installers if you want to. BWP 5.4 has left out some incompatible mods from earlier BWP megas.
Also you will have good success in starting a topic all your own when you have installed everything and post your weidu log. If you get some bugs, document them in your topic and usually someone from the BWP team will help in directing to hotfixes or other easy procedures, depending on the severity.
Good luck Strontium Dog!

OK, so what specific mods had BWP 5.4 left out, out of curiosity?

Here you get all things which are belongs to the BWP.
And here is our BWP linklist of all mods we used in our BWP. We update the BWP linklist with each new modversion and tell you there in the first post, if the new modversion is compatible with the recent BWP guide.
Greetings Leomar

A Megamod does not mean that you can play all of the mods or all of their content,
but you have more choices or paths through the game.
