I have a few bits in my .tp2 saying things like:

EXTEND_BOTTOM ~AR1401.BCS~ ~Elai\scripts\A#AR1401.BCS~

When I try to install I get a parse error message saying there is an error in the text near ~Elai\, though that's definitely the right filename.

I've looked in a few other mods and the syntax I'm using seems to be the same.

I also get this sometimes with my AT_INTERACTIVE_EXIT ~notepad Elai\ElaiReadMe.txt~ bit, and in a few other random places.

Any ideas what's up?

You should probably check a few lines up from where the errors are to see if a tilde is missing or something similar.

Thanks, what I did was remove the lines from the .tp2 and write them in again somewhere else from scratch. Which seems to work, as they work fine now! Grr, silly mistakes. B)
