I don't see it as too much of an issue. One could easily have scouts around the place.Normally you can join the bandits by joining Raiken in Peldvale, or by joining Teven in Larswood. If you kill them off and go directly to the Bandit Camp, you are thrown inextricably into a battle with the bandits. I've always noticed that if I kill the bandit groups and it seems no one escapes those battles how would the Bandit Camp get word that you killed them off? I've developed a 3rd path where you can go to the Bandit Camp on your own and still be able to join the bandits if you are interested.
