Hi Hoppy,

here is the German translation.
Don't wonder about the difference between the English and the German text. The official translaters of BG had been often not very near to the origin text. So I only changed the values in their translation.

KIVOGREX

DDINN01

@7 = ~Wer ist Pascha Salam?~

ORGOTH01

Thanks as always Leonardo

Current changelog and credits for The Darkest Day 1.13. Located in TDD\Progress.txt and this does not display as a readme either at the beginning nor the end of installation. :D

********************************
v1.13: Changes/fixes from v1.12
--------------------------------
1) Added French translation by Isaya and updated to WeiDU 213.

2) Fixed overwriting spells SPWI926 (Region of Terror still uses) and SPWI938 (BGT still uses).
TDD was overwriting but now uses its own naming for Weird and Antimagic Cloud...SPMI145 and SPMI144 respectively.
Creatures and scripts changed accordingly to reflect new spells and now the SPELL.IDS does not include these two TDD spells (unnecessary/overwriting).***HOPPY

3) Attempted fixes to allow both versions of NPC's from BGT and TDD with quests (Shar-Teel, Kivan, etc)
to be able to complete the quest whether they were imported in BGT or not. Not applicable if BGT is absent.***Hoppy
***THIS WILL ONLY WORK IF TDD IS INSTALLED BEFORE BALDUR'S GATE TRILOGY***

4) Many kits tested for bugs by sdrake and Hoppy. Kit fixes for Mage Hunter, Vindicator (never worked ever!)
and Priest of Silvanus (never worked in WeiDU) now work better with some small improvements to kit spells and TP2 coding (Silvanus).***Hoppy

5) DD0334.ARE now has the correct script assigned.***Isaya

6) AR0904.BCS script now works better with patching.***Nythrun/Isaya-TP2 implementation.

7) XZAR13.CRE (XZAR) will have his full voice set like in BG1 only with a BGT game for now.***HOPPY

8) Restored content:
a) Dialogs (KIVOGREX, DDINN01, ORGOTH01 and DDKEND01) now have added strings fromt he orginal mod.***Isaya
b) Bobbin the enchanter in Mage District enchants normal jewelry and stones to magic items.
Currently dialog is basic and he won't take the jewels but will take the correct gold. Will update this later.***Hoppy

9) DDCAPT01 will now give the gold reward by replacing GiveGold with GiveGoldForce in his dialog.***Hoppy

10) Avaunis should speak correctly now after his quest is over in Hall of Knowledge rather than when the party kills
the psions outside. Worked in older WeiDU versions, I don't know why it was messed up. Maybe a missing global somewhere else? ***Hoppy

11) POCUTLA1 and POCUTLAK fixed so that the Sender switches locations appropriately. He was always going to the same location for both scenes instead
of traveling to and from the lake in the Small Teeth Pass. ***Hoppy

12) Improved scripting for Topaz dragon based on original work by Radagast_the_Brown.***Hoppy

13) Fixed description for Elemental Death...was screwed up in TP2 and the string in the .TRA already existed. ***Hoppy :-)

14) Cloud of Pestilence script fix by BWP. Implemented in the spell now. ***Hoppy

15) Super Improved ToB transition when talking to Mary Magus. Now instead of just warping to AR4000,
both movies will play (the SoA end and ToB beginning). Code shamelessly stolen/borrowed from CtB and BGT but modified for this scenario.***Hoppy

16) ANIMATE/ANISND (IDS) misprint fixes.***BWP

17) Some items' usability flags changed to allow usage by appropriate kits. Some of these never worked in TDD 103. ***Hoppy

18) Numerous creature patches by ScuD using Nythrun's code for offset fixing. Hopefully this improves compatibility and less CTD's with other mods.

19) Vesine now has her biography restored from TDD 103.***Isaya

20) Script fixes/misprints.***Isaya

22) Corrected script in AR2800 which prevented the traveler from spawning. GANDARSOUTH not ALAGARSOUTH and he will spawn correctly which makes more sense for the background of the main quest instead of the party going to the Rusted Scabbard because it is on the map.

22) Restored Deep Mir Forest-Haunted Forest travel.***Erebusant
*Needs the worldmap mod extracted into the main game folder before installing TDD so that TDD installation can update the Revised Worldmap table*

***Other corrections exist but will be implemented in 1.14 along with Italian translation***

***Thanks go out to:
Isaya for his tremendous work in translation and help with fixing things.
ScuD for the .CRE's.
Erebusant for helping with the Worldmap patching.
sdrake for testing a lot of kits and feedback.
Leonardo Watson, Prowler, MORGAN for translating as well.
All of you who found this in the TDD folder and are reading it. :-)***

Regarding DDINN01, my suggestion was to remove @7 from the tra file and to remove the third answer that was using it in the d file. Basically the other parts of the dialog are refering to the citadel in the sky (Cyric's). Hence Pasha Salam is already dead for a long while when you get this dialog. You can check my notes about this dialog for details.

Great work you did on this upcoming update (the list is huge!). I'm glad I could help.

A few words about the bug fix list:
  • AR0904.BCS: the goal of the fix is to get rid of the infamous "Baurian missing" bug for people who are playing a good aligned cleric character who killed everyone in the Talos temple as part of the quest for the temple Lathander.
  • DD0334.ARE: the proper script name allows to recover the missing smith in that area.
  • Vesine biography is actually restored from TDD 1.02R (it was already missing in 1.03).

I will add the notes about the 0904, DD0334 and change the 103 to 1.02R for Vesine's bio restoration.

RE: DDINN01

I removed the @7 in the dialog file and forgot to modify the TRA files :o
EDIT: OK I checked in my test install and the dialog file is fine when compiled, it is leftover translation in the .TRA files that I forgot to remove. For 1.13 the dialog works as you intended.

Yes the list is long (like my CtB update) and there were a few bugs that you may not have known about ^_^

Hi,

First great mod and great job updating the mod, from what I have seen (althought little see below) it is much more stable than the previous version I tested ...1.0.3

Here is my issue :

I did a vanilla install of BG2 + Tob and then added the official patch and then added TDD 1.12

Is there anyone who could help me finding why the extended world map doesn't show up?
I just have the normal one, no extended up to Riatavin and so on

As far as I can tell among the other mod I added AFTER installing TDD 1.12 none of them should mess up with the world map
Mods :
Dungeon be gone
Tashia
Few tweaks from the BG tweak pack
The subrace mod
I read this discussion and noticed the World map mod should be extracted in the BG2 subfolder, and so far so good : it is in my directory.

Any help would be welcome

You will need to install the worldmap mod to have everything work correctly in the worldmap part. There you can choose the size and further modifications: original or revised travel times. It comes with a save game patcher so you won't have to start a new game.

Everything should work cool after that when you run the setup-bp-bgt_worldmap.

To everyone:

There seems to be a mishap beyond my control with the version update. Previous version is 1.12 and my master version is 1.13. Only 1.13 has the documented fixes/patches and translations.

I will talk with admin to see how we can remedy this issue.

All the kits in the TDD kitpack are playable (with the exception of the Paladin kit, Dark Knight) They show up for different races and sexes.

For example, you need to be a female human to select the Amazon ;)

Is TDD the only kitpack you installed?? (if you think the Amazon is being pushed down by other kits, use this awesome tool to add a scrollbar to the kitscreen :))
