I just installed BG Trilogy with North and Darkside of the sword coast, NPC Banter Mod, and the sword coast strategems mod.

When I start a new game I have a Fire Agate gem in my inventory and it is immovable. Why is there there? Is it a bug and how do I get rid of it?

It's not a bug, as the item is a script relater... meaning that if you want to use the AI the character is currently using, the item needs to be in the inventory... it should disappear if you change the characters AI settings to None from the character screen->customization or some-such.

Deactivated account. The user today is known as The Imp.

Ok thank you. I thought I messed something up during the mod install. I am glad I didn't use the shadowkeeper to remove it

It is not intended and you can remove it with whatever tool you have.
(Although I would suggest reinstalling SCS with the unofficial hotfix.)

If you talk about the unofficial hotfix, you should show him, where he gets it. ;)

Here you get the unofficial hotfix for SCS. :)

A Megamod does not mean that you can play all of the mods or all of their content,
but you have more choices or paths through the game.

I think I may also be having a problem with the NPC banter mod. I noticed characters start talking but the person they are talking to does not respond. I attached a pic of the event. It looks like Kivan is starting a conversation with Imeon, but when I hit continue nothing happens.

I think this happened one other time with another NPC, though I dismissed it at the time so there is no pic.

Nothing is wrong with BG1NPC Mod, but another mod has overwritten Imoen .d file.

We have had the same problem in the German forum in the past, but I can't find the thread at the moment. It is everytime the same, if you want to find something, you can't find it...

I let you know what we have found out, if I'm lucky and find this %&%$ thread.

The bigg wrote a WeiDU script to find which block in a character's scripts is causing this. If you're willing to track down the problem, read this: http://forums.gibber...s...st&p=124166

Thanks Steve, but at first I'll find the mentioned German thread, so I know, what we have found out about it. ;)
