So:
- her item isn't protecting her against level drain. Also it (dunno why) displays on her portrait "level drained" icon. You can remove it but everytime you're loading save it's there. Again.
- someone who started modding can easily see that Ninde was once a Bhaalspawn... you know, Minor Larloch Drain, Horror and Vampiric Touch. Which evil children of Bhaal don't know these innate abilities gained when you're roaming around Sword Coast showing your brother who's badass number one. But really, you should remove these abilities.
- her dialogues are usually great... but when it's about joining dialogue, there exists a sort of scheme. Just before ending it, your character can always tell to NPC that he's looking for his childhood friend Imoen or for Irenicus, mad wizard. Ninde already can know that, but still, why breaking the immersion please?
- maybe can you lend to her some robe. It's quite chilly in these dungeons. Mwah, that's quite personal stuff because currently I'm in underdark and she still don't have any robe.
- can I refine a bit Ankh's bam? it looks rather... undeveloped.
- one quite big request. I usually beg for that in most of NPC mods, because in my opinion it's killing the immersion between original game and mod. Is there a possibility of making flirt/chat-pack as optional component?

Ninde at overall is great NPC, one of the best written which I've ever seen. She has great portrait, great and quite funny dialogues, intriguing story... but still, if author of this mod can work on it, it will show it's overall potential which is quite huge. I'm looking forward for squashed bugs, voicing, optional flirtpack and of course .tra files for making delicious translation. Yummy.

Item is fixed in the new version.

Will fix the .cre (though again, I think I've already done this).

Sorry, but I'm not really worried about this. :) It's assumed at some point you've told her.

I'll see what I can do--just depends on how much time I have with the other stuff I have to do.

I'm afraid this decision is up to Deva--personally, I'm ambivalent, but I don't want to decide for Deva!

One of the scripts in Ninde has an errant "Myself" (with quotes) ... it creates warnings when compiled cause BGII uses Myself (without quotes) :)

I get a very nasty bug using Ninde. If she dies and I try to sleep the game CTD. I used SK to avoid having to sleep to get ressurection. But now she turns yellow and is unplayable after res. I'm forced to reload if she dies at all.

I've been greatly enjoying this mod so far, and I have strong praise for the characterization. Still, I'm stuck at lovetalk 24. I'll describe the situation.

Right now, the romance does not progress past lovetalk 24. Ninde has had the Energy Drain icon on her portrait. I just read in this thread that you either have fixed that or will fix it. I notice upon casting restoration on her that the npp returns, but the energy drain does appear to prevent her from leveling if I leave it on. It returns upon loading a saved game.

I switched the lovetalk variable to 25, and she immediately has another lovetalk. This implies that I must have missed the trigger to move to 25 or that I am not able to be in the right place or time to trigger it.

I'll go ahead and complete it with the modified save, but hopefully I am not missing something important.

That's the Underdark lovetalk, which I think I changed to trigger separately, but... I can't seem to find when. Changing the variable won't break the romance or anything, it should continue as normal. :)

Thanks--I had a feeling that it was an Underdark thing, especially since she did not seem to realize that I had already killed Bodhi when I did, etc.

I think I made a mistake by picking her up too early. I sided with Bodhi and invited Ninde before going to Spellhold.

Edit: And one final note for this run: I believe that the Kim mod interferes with Ninde. Though neither romance was at 2 at the time, Kim was abducted by Bodhi and it seemed to make things go a little strange in a few minor ways. The up side of this is that in the Abyss trials, the selfishness demon abducted Kim as well (edit: even though the Ninde romance was at 2 and Kim at 3). Since my PC is something of an evil jerk in this run, I decided to just raise her afterward. Strangely, that immediately triggered an amusing Viconia/Ninde talk.

added: After this, all romance variables were the same except the nindeviconia variable went to 4.

Yes, having finished the SoA portion of this run, I am convinced that the Kim NPC mod is the problem here. When the romance with Kim went to 3, it apparently wrecked a few other things in the course of Ninde. It was only after the Selfishness trial that things became reset. I had already gone to lovetalk 36 with Ninde, but this freed things up with Viconia and allowed that romance to proceed to 2. I assume that there is more interaction between the Ninde and Viconia romances than this. I did see the dialogue that switches the Ninde lovetalk variable to 36 again, but no further interactions. I'll uninstall Kim and try a new run later.

I suspect that's a problem/bug with the Kim mod, yeah, especially if she was abducted when her RA was at 3. Might be worth reporting to Kim's maintainer, perhaps?

After being turned into a drow by the silver dragon, Ninde is trying to have a dialog with my character, but the only thing that is shown is the options are as if I initiated a conversation with her. (questions,flirt,etc...) After telling her nevermind she keeps approaching me with the same results.

Is there a variable that I can change to stop this or do I need to reinstall?

Hi, I'm an old lurker of BG2 mods, been playing BG2 again recently and found Ninde only a few days ago.

Played it and found that somehow the romance was stuck, after the 1st love talk appear, which I do hope that signifies that the romance is active.

I checked through SK and the ROMANCEACTIVE is indeed at 1. So presuming that the romance is active, why then there's no more LT?

After the 1st LT which happens around 5 minutes, after my PC arives at Brynlaw, she turns silent.

I have several other mods installed, but most of them are core mods, such as fixpack, BG2 tweaks, dungeon be gone, item upgrade, npc banter, iepbanter pack, Romantic Encounters, npc flirts and 2 npc mods, fade and amber.

so I have no idea to what cause her to be silent after the romance is active. currently played untill the underdark, but she's still silent. I have read several posts here that states that u need underdark LT so that the romance can progress but..... I got nothing.... ~scratches head~

I have no idea if it's a bug or just my idiocy, but I would really love to play ninde, the first impression she gave me was hugely amusing. so could someone probably tell me where do I stumble wrong here? I would appreciate it very much, thank you....

1st time playing Ninde (newest), I detected the following bug:

After Ninde confessed the murder of her father and brother, I allowed the "hunting party" to take her - but nothing happened. She remained in the party, I got no money and no member of the "Hunters" does anything.

I had to leave to another place.

BTW: Does the "hunting" happen always?
BTW2: I liked her - but she's too evil for me.

I should also mention that the NindeEncounter variable is set to 2. Manually setting it to 0 or 1 causes the messenger to spawn, start a dialogue and then immideately close said dialogue and despawn. Manually advancing seems impossible.
