Seems like a pretty obvious question, but I guessed I missed finding the answer in the read me or anything else. If I start a BG Trilogy game from Candlekeep at level 1, will I eventually be able to play ToB? Because I noticed that even though I graduated to BG2 through the special transition, my game file is still in the SoA/BG1 menu. Do I need to do something special to get to ToB, or is it possible? That is, if I start in Candlekeep with the equivalent of BG1, am I stuck in BG1 and SoA?
If not, will mods like Shadows Over Soubar affect my SoA game?

One more small thing; if I left an item in Baldur's gate in a barrel before I transitioned to SoA, will I ever be able to get it back even though the destination is currently unreachable? (Feels a little like cheating, but I figure I'll at least try.)

Thanks,
Happy BGT User Klazmar

You can play all the way through. You can change your GUI with the GUI switcher which should be installed at, or very close to the end of your installation. The only way to return to BG1 areas after transition is via CLUAConsole...

With BGT you begin with BG1, play through SoA and until the end of ToB.

If not, will mods like Shadows Over Soubar affect my SoA game?

All what you install will effect the game and you will encounter it.

No, not on the normal way.

A Megamod does not mean that you can play all of the mods or all of their content,
but you have more choices or paths through the game.

Thanks, that's very helpful. Go modders go! Maybe I'll join your ranks some day when I learn a little programming.
