Hello Ascension64!

I am having a weird problem (unexperienced before).

When I try to install the above mentioned component, the WeiDu installer just never completes the installation and I am forced to quit the process.

Any idea about what it might cause that?

I have added my WeiDu.log, in case it might be of any help.

UPDATE: Problem solved. It was a custom file dumped in the Override that caused this.

This is a bit unrelated to your problem, Salk, but I took a look at the code for this component after reading this thread. The file size check for .eff files skips empty files but not those smaller than the required size, though this would only cause an error in weird circumstances. Regardless, I'd switch SOURCE_SIZE > 0 with SOURCE_SIZE > 0x109.

Also, the regular expression for the .effs is a little iffy, though I guess it functions somewhat or someone would have noticed:

~^.+*.eff$~

=>

~^.+\.eff$~
