Firefox and Opera are free browsers, so what's your point? And Firefox has installed in every public center here in Finland I have been(schools, libraries, youth centers, the like), so it shouldn't be that hard to have.but what about all the members who don't have that option?

Just for the fact that it seems to load stuff faster!!
But I tend to have quick (and twitchy) fingers and end up closing the wrong tabs >_< which is where FF's recently closed tabs thing is like the best thing in the world
(I used to use IE for windows update, but that too changed when IETab for FF came out

SHS doesn't seem to remember me
It's not that much of a problem, but it's quite a hassle to login everytime I visit.
I don't know if it's an issue with the board or my pc, but If you could help me solve it, that'll be great

Thanks!You can however log in using IE 8 by doing it through this link.
Just by the way, this site loads more quickly in Chrome than in IE8, which should surprise no one.

My point, my dear Imp, is that most people use computers running Windows with IE pre-installed and lack the inclination to download and install alternative browsers. As for the availability of Firefox in Finland, that is most heartening, but you should note that at least 2.7% of the world's population lives in other countries.

I did, but I didn't have this problem with the old SHS. I would visit the site and I was always logged in.
I guess it has something to do with the cookies, but I don't know how to fix it.

Is there a reason the new code tag seems to be so <words of hatred> hard to scroll thorough at least on Mozilla F3.5.7., as for example this thread is nightmare to look through, beyond the first post.

More DB stupidity: I can't 'Mark all Posts read' and get DB errors in all pages (in the footer); also, the header image displays as a grey box.

I cannot view most topics with my Firefox 3.5.7 under Linux since today, content is hidden. With Chromium I do not have a problem.

The database got overloaded earlier today. It exceeded the already huge limitations we extended it to last time this happened.
Sometimes we modders think the IE community is dying, but at least in terms of traffic, SHS just gets stronger and stronger--wonder what G3/PPG is like?
