Hi all (and sorry for my english, i'm french but french forum about The Longer Road are pretty dead...)
so, i'have installed this wonderfull mod on my BG2, and during the game I always tried to convince Irenicus to get a new soul from Illmater... But dialogue are nombrous and it's hard to make the right choice. I've accomplished the Deva's quest in the Watcher's Keep, choosing to give a new existence to the Bebilith and the Deva, in the same body, i think this is the good thing to do for Irenicus. But at the end, when Amelissane is down, the Solar asks to Jon if he accepts a new soul, but he says no, and it seems he's very angry, whereas every time he talked to me i tried to find the right words concerning his destiny, refusing to give him the soul of a child of Bhaal.
So how can I give him a new soul, for his Redemption ?

There's a redemption counter - he has to have a certain score for you to be able to redeem him. You did the right thing in Watcher's Keep but it is very easy to mess things up by saying the wrong thing when you talk to him. Redeeming him is very difficult!

Hello, i'm french too!
I redeemed Jon and I remember that your reputation must not be too low in order too redeem him, just be a good guy!
I might add that you very easily mess things up if you don't talk too him corrctly, you know, he's very very proud elf, with his "I don't want to be controlled!" motto (sa devise quoi).

plan on playing the dern game for a week at least!!
You just have to not step on his toes i.e. insulting, or controlling responses
And..........

I see it as three stepts (SPOILERS AHEAD)
You do the WK deva quest correctly = step 1
You get him to talk to you about the "dream" = step 2
You get him to refuse to take a bhaal spawn soul = step 3
In my opinion you cannot go after the Drow bhaal spawn or the dragon bhaal spawn untill AFTER step 2
