you could make the cards to summon a dragon or an elven warrior or a mage the cards could be found in another dimesion like the elven warior could be celtic Gaurdian or blue eyes white dragon could be a evil white dragon and dark magician cold be a lv 40 mage that can cast custom spells all three could have diolage with the pc and NPC's.

Putting a level 40 anything into the game would probably be a bad idea no matter whose side it was on. Most areas would have a lot of trouble containing something as large as a dragon, so the use of the cards or the die rolls going into which card was pulled would probably need to be severely limited. Also there would probably need to be a lot more potential effects to keep people entertained.

As is, the Deck of Many Things found on the demon Aesgareth in Watcher's Keep is somewhat like this (a deck of cards from another world with different potential effects found in an extra-planar themed area), only tied more heavily into Dungeons and Dragons and balanced with its temporary status and potential to harm you (though this can be combatted by the handy "reload game" spell).

This looks like a mod idea to me.

Anyway, the basic idea of special summons isn't bad. Especially for an actual conjurer like Edwin, having a summon that acts more like a familiar could be fun. Still, I'd prefer something from a... different source in this case.
