Do you have any plans for revising Rogue Rebalancing scripting?

No, not without a good reason. Doing it for the sake of doing it is just another chance of introducing bugs.

So, due to Death Tyrant's being roughly 2 % undead and 98 % beholder, there will also be an upcoming "PnP Beholders" component.

Speaking of which, will this component add (P&P) Death Tyrants to the game? I don't recall there being any, although an animation for them does exist in the game resources and is enabled by Infinity Animations. Not owning any of the AD&D Monster Manuals, I have no idea how they relate to other beholders (i.e. do they tend to group, and there often be some Death Tyrants in a Beholder nest, or do they hate each other, or whatnot).

Not owning any of the AD&D Monster Manuals...

That shouldn't be a problem. Provided to you by google.

Yes (vide infra). There are also a few Death Tyrants in vanilla ToB. Death Tyrants are usually created by magic users (Elder Orbs and similar, in the case of Beholders) and are unquestioningly loyal, devoid of free will, etc. You find them where their creator wants them to be and they are solitary, unless more than one was created and grouped together,

I've been sketching a bit on a "PnP Encounters" component, which would strive to go a bit further in PnP-ifying certain encounters (e.g., ghasts are supposed to have a subservient pack of ghouls). Among other things I was thinking about adding some variety by placing a Death Tyrant here and there, as appropriate. The Unseeing Eye strikes me as the kind who'd have a couple of Death Tyrants on guard, for instance.

Thanks, Wisp (and Jarno, too!) :)

The P&P Encounters component would be overly awesome, though I might be biased 'cause I really love everything that is P&P :P

May I ask if the Evil Eyes are the next ones in your list, Wisp? :Tasty:

Beholders and a few outlier (and not-so-outlier) undead, yes.

Shouldn't some of the more powerful among beholderkin have innate detect invisibility, or even detect illusions? i checked the FR wiki and I don't know what to get from this

"Because their entire body is covered with eyes, Beholders have the capacity to see in all directions at once, making it nearly impossible to ambush them while also giving them an usually high degree of perceptive ability. Additionnally beholders have the ability to perceive in even the most darkeven environment, although without the capacity to see color under conditions in which a human or similar creature would be rendered blind."

Immunity to backstab which is already implemented, infravision, immunity to blindness (?), and the bolded/underlined part I don't know what to make of it.

One thing to keep in mind is that most wikis and such target the D&D flavour du jour, whereas aTweaks aims for reasonably compliant 2E AD&D. I don't see anything in the 2E MM that would support giving Beholders the ability to see through invisibility (stealth maybe, but off-hand I don't think it is possible to differentiate between stealth and magical invisibility). The link has been tossed around before, but there is a comprehensive listing of 2E creatures here.
