). I was hoping to resume writing this month and get things all wrapped up this spring, but unfortunately we're dealing with the third death in our immediate family since October. My husband has lost two brothers and a grandmother in just three months. Needless to say, life is very complicated at the moment.

. Condolences really aren't enough, but I hope that your husband is doing as well as can be expected after all of that difficulty. It's good that he has you to help him though it, but hopefully the rest of the family is pulling together to deal with this as well. Take your time and do what you can, when you can. Family and real life are far more important.

Things got worse this spring before they got better (two more deaths...seriously, soap operas couldn't make this crap up), but this summer has started off nicely and will hopefully stay that way. This weekend, I'm wrapping up the final push on a book I'm editing for a family member (publisher deadlines SUCK!!1!), and I'm gearing up for a gig on Friday. After that, I have no responsibilities until August, which means I can get to the task at hand - Haer'Dalis! Things should progress quickly this next month.

) so I haven't accomplished much. I think my brain is boiling. Lovetalk 9 is progressing, and I'm hoping to have it wrapped up tonight and get on to lt10. I'm going to spend this week picking through SoA to fix errors, typos and tweak a few things I wasn't fully satisfied with. So. Crossing my fingers that I get my melting butt motivated. Go away, heat!
