First up - I would like to give a lot more details here but it would be really really really spoilerish for players of the Mod.
Hope you can bear with me ^^;;
1. Are you looking for original art, photoshopped art or a portrait edit?
Portrait edits, of the following portrait.
At least 3 Portrait Edits, I shall refer to each one as A B and C
2. Male or female? What race, age and character class, possibly alignment?
Female. The base portrait (in 8.) is a beautiful blonde elven (or human) girl.
3. Describe the character's features (face, eyes, hair, clothing, etc)
(see below pic in 8.)
4. What color preferences do you have (skin, eyes, hair, armor, clothing, etc)?
A) same, just signs of Ageing. the usual - lighter hair, more lines, eyes slightly higher up the face and slightly smaller
B) change of skin, eye and hair color
C) change of skin, eye and hair color
5. Would you like a weapon, a spell effect or an item to be shown in the portrait? If so, what kind?
A) No weapons, spells, or items required.
One "item" required for B) and C), to be disclosed in PM.
Some possible effects are stuff like glowy, shining, burning, sparkling, to certain parts of the portrait.
They'll make a lot more sense when you understand what they are for.
6. What kind of a background would you like?
Current background is fine
Black background may be required if there is contrast limitation due to hair color changes
7. What kind of an expression would you like the character to have? Dangerous, happy, serene, mysterious, playful, sad, etc etc?
A) serious. current expression (see 8.) is fine
B) and C) subject to artists' interpretation of what they are for.
8. Do you have a portrait you would like to be used as a model/reference picture (for pose, expression, looks, colors, etc...)? Post it here if you have!

9. Should the artist post the portrait here, or PM or email it to you?
PM / Email would be much much better (see 12.)
10. Any deadlines?
Preferably by late January / early February 2011

11. What game and what mod is this for?
Baldur's Gate 2, and the mod is Valasse
12. Anything else you'd like to mention?
A B and C can be broken up into more portraits, subject to artist's agreeability with the concept and details.
Note that I know, just because you request me for information via PM, doesn't mean that you have agreed to take up the Request.
I understand and respect totally that on receiving the details, you may not want to do it.
