Howdy,
Tried and failed to add Tortured Souls plus a bunch of Weidu mods to my clean install. Kept getting a message like this: "An Assertion failed in InfScreenInventory.cpp at line number 9909."
Error hits mostly with items attached to the TS mod (everything Sime has, Kachiko's swords), but it did occur with the amulet Aran gives you at your first meeting. So I am looking to start over. Here is what I wish to install:

Weidu Baldurdash
Ease of use/Underrepresented items/item upgrade (Weimer)
Freedom's Reign/Reign of Virtue
Ascension
The Longer Road
Unusual Oddities Shop
Ashes of Embers
Assassinations
Banter packs / crossmod banters

NPC Flirtpack
Planar Sphere mod
Return to Trademeet Item/kit packs
Song and Silence/ Sword and Fist
Stuff of the Magi
And many NPCs:

Saerileth
Kivan
deArnise romance
Beside the Korgan redemption, that should do it. I followed the "order" in the Big Picture guide, but have been told that has been outdated. Any help you can give, even if that is a gentle (or not so gentle) nudge to a link already extant, is greatly appreciated. I am searching as I go along, but like most have job/family to fill my time. Thanks again!

I would install TS after Baldurdash, but also I recommend BG2 Fixpack instead of Baldurdash, unless you have some compelling reason for installing it.

Nope, no compelling reason, just trying to cover all bases. If it is unnecessary, then I have no real love for it. Any other issues you can see?

Well, I know that Vlad's mods (or at least Never Ending Journey) requires Baldurdash-WeiDU to be installed.
The best way to do so is to use both Baldurdash and BG2 Fixpack, but that requires the BiG World Fixpack to be downloaded and run before installation.

At this point, I'm not really doing much Baldur's Gate related. More focused on Skyrim modding and the Born of Legend tabletop roleplaying game. Don't expect much activity here.

Crap this is complex! I don't want the Big World (BG1, SoS, TDD, etc), just BG2/ToB with some mods. Guess I will check out teh latest TS site and see what they have to say. Thanks to all who have responded, always looking for advice!

You can use BWP to install 1/2/.../100 mods. Download the mods you want that are compatible with BWP (refer to BWP install guide), unpacl then in BG2 directory, run install.bat. As William Imm said it's the best (only?) way to make Baldurdash and BG2Fixpack compatible.
It won't install Ascension-WeiDU but you can install the BP-Ascension components. Or try installing it before anything else and run BWP on top but I don't think that's ever been tested. As I said in your other post, I don't think Ease-of-Use is compatible with much nowadays. Take a look at BG2 tweaks maybe and pick your components by editing the install.bat, again refer to BWP install guide to find the matching component numbers, or inside the .tp2 file if you dare.

Or just run the fixpack.bat and install manually according to the PDF. Also, it's safe to install Ascension-WeiDU (I did it before) - just do it before BG2 Fixpack.

Actually, turns out it was my ToB install that was messed up. Not sure if it was a display issue or what, but I have got it fixed. Thanks for all the help!
