II'm experiencing this very same problem exposed on this thread , this time using ubuntu 12.04 / wine 1.5.7; I'm playing the gog version of the game, but the same mods as kopi are installed.
Could someone update my save game past such sequence? many thanks.

Are there any problems with my save game? In the meanwhile i've tried restarting from a previous save and trying different quests first, but the game keeps getting stuck at the same point.
