Hey guys!
I don't know if you noticed, but the Steam Summer Sale of 2012 has started, with outrages discounts on some stellar games.
I've already caved and bought Heroes of Might and Magic 6. Anyone else buying or window shopping? The sale is scheduled to last til July 22nd, with daily deals and flash sales lasting 8 hours.
I can already hear my credit card sizzling! ^_^

Those Flash Sales are a terrible idea, and the reason I won't be buying anything this year. Them, and the fact I already have several hundreds games in my backlog :/

I couldn't resist getting Legend of Grimrock for 5.59€. Great deal, although I didn't really need more games in my backlog. ;)

On the fence with Skyrim and Heroes VI. As far as the Heroes series goes, I haven't actually played it since III ( ) and I fear VI won't sufficiently compare to it, but $25 still seems like a pretty good deal, hmm...

Yea - I managed to gift Portal 2 for my brother for only $5 - that, and that Tribes MMO starter pack thing. Got charged twice for Portal 2... *eugh*
At this point, I'm not really doing much Baldur's Gate related. More focused on Skyrim modding and the Born of Legend tabletop roleplaying game. Don't expect much activity here.

Star Wars Battlefront I & II plus AC: Revelations. Nothing much else there I want.

I'm done for. It's only day two, and I've already bought Terraria, Legend of Grimrock, HoMM6, Assassin's Creed: Revelations and Trine 2.
I also have my eye on Batman: Arkham Asylum, and might get Jade Empire too since it's discounted.

I started playing the series with number 2, Heroes 4 I really liked (particularly the scenarios, loved the stories), Heroes 5 was decent. I'm guessing Heroes 6 will be pretty much more of the same, but at this point, I'm kinda committed to the series. ^_^

So I passed on Heroes VI for now, though I'll probably keep looking at it while that price tag lasts. And it's not like I'm done having fun with Heroes III. However, when I saw Skyrim go from -33% yesterday to -50% today, I figured why not.

I finished up my shopping for this Summer Sale with these:

The Orange Box, 9.49€ (-50%)
Left 4 Dead Bundle, 7.49€ (-75%)

With those collections and Legend of Grimrock, I've successfully added to my backlog of must-play titles... again! :D

Definately go for Jade Empire. It's... very different and does reward a second (or even a third) playthrough. Damn, but I'd love a JE2. Also, check out K'ae's JE Mods thread plus I even reskinned some of the main characters myself but didn't ever package them as a mod (if you're interested).

[Edit] Ah! Even found the thread with a couple of screenshots

@Y: I actually have played JE (looved it, played as Wu, added to my list of awesome BioWare men), but I played at a friend's house, so I technically don't own it. It is a great game though, I recommend it as well. I would've liked to take more than one companion with me, but the setting is a great change from the generic fantasy setting and I was completely taken in by the plot twist.

@AMS: Already own KotOR of course! ;)
