I could've sworn I saw a component in aTweaks that allowed the equipping of protection (f.e. the "Ring of Protection +1") items with enchanted armor!

As I donned my Studded Leather Armor +2 the other day I noticed I couldn't, and was today stunned to see that I have no such component installed! Searching various readmes, I can't seem to find it anywhere! I can only conclude that it was removed...a sad thing, as this was a really cool component!

This component is part of another mod : BG2 Tweaks.
French translator of: BG2 FixPack, BG2 Tweaks, Baldur's Gate Trilogy-WeiDU, BGT-Tweaks and some minor mods.

There is a similar component in Item Revisions which you may be thinking of.

The component in IR lets you use 1 item of protection along with your magical armor.

The "No Restrictions" component in BG2 Tweaks lets you use any number of items of protection along with your magical armor.

The "P&P restrictions" component in BG2 Tweaks lets you use any number of items of protection along with your magical armor, but you can only get one AC bonus from these items.  Using the ability that is added to cloaks/rings/necklaces of protection, you can swap them for a version that provides only saving throw bonuses.  Then you can wear these along with your single magical armor or AC-providing item of protection.

Or to get the "No Restrictions", you only have to make a new text file, edit it with Notepad, copy this into it:

2DA V1.0
0
        VALUE
CLCK01 1

And "Save As" -all files and name the file as "itemexcl.2da", and then put the file to the game directory's Override -folder.

The "P&P-restrictions"-component is the one that makes the most sense, imo. I could have sworn I had that installed already! I'm off to investigate... *Inspector Gadget-theme*

EDIT

Erm, yeah, so... can I get the P&P-restrictions component to work in a similar manner, Jarno?
