But you knew that already did you? Seriously I just wanted to give all my love for this NPC mod. I just saw his first 'banter' with Nalia and I almost burst a gut laughing at their explosive chemistry. I especially love how Nalia gave as good as she got, as I've come across some mods where the Bioware NPCs turn into shirking violets whenever the Mod NPC disagrees with them on a matter - or they just let the Mod NPC win the argument. It was so refreshing to see not only a Bioware NPC be in character but to refuse to take the abuse. I normally drop Nalia as soon as I get to Spellhold, but I might just hold onto her for longer to see more of their cat fights. 

 

All of the kudos for writing such an amazing NPC. I'm not even that far into the mod and already I can see Adrian becoming a permanent member of my party.

Yeah, Nalia was pretty fun in general. She's an INT 17 aristocrat also, after all, and should certainly act like it.

I'm loving him. He's just so amusing and yet most of his conversations actually make my character think about the path she's taking. Being around him has sort of turned my Neutral Good character into something more of a True Neutral, which I never thought I'd see. She's not quite there, she still wants to do good in the world when she can, but he slowly snarked the remaining blind optimism out of her until nothing was left. Which is actually better for her in the long run, given what's going to happen in ToB. He's also made me 'awww' a few times. Just left the Underdark and my character asked him if they would ever get out of the whole mess alive. While his answer was slightly backhanded, hearing that he'd rather be with her in spite of the fact that no matter where he goes they'll always be trouble made me smile like a dork.

 

And yeah, Nalia is amazing. I ended up keeping her through Spellhold and I haven't regretted it yet. In character and her conversations with him are always a blast. (P.S. I loved the talk he has when you get him drunk with Anomen in the party.) Gah, I could rave about this mod all day but then where would we be. I'll just settle with giving all of the kudos once more.
