Another werewolf kit idea.
Please cut me some slack for them name, originally I was going to name it Silver Paw of Selûne .
While finishing the Bear Walker, I had a lot of cool ideas about how 'enraging' could be used as a kind of main theme for a werewolf kit.
Thats how I came up with this kit idea, which I will probably do next, before the Werewolf/Priest of Malar kit.
Please comment, criticize or do whatever else pleases you...
Kit description:
SILVER FUR OF SELÛNE: Those who contract one of the more malicious forms of lycanthropy often turn to Selûne, the patron goddess of good lycanthropes, to ask for guidance and help in their struggle against the evil, that lurks within them.
Silver Furs of Selûne are clerics who receive special spells from their goddess, the Moonmaiden, to help them control their lycanthropic forms, in this case that of a werewolf.
While some Silver Furs are guards to temples and shrines, most choose a life as adventurers or wanderers and use the newly gained control over their condition to battle evil lycanthropes, followers of Shar, and other enemies of their Lady of Silver.
Advantages:
- At level 1 gains the ability to shapeshift into a werewolf.
- From levels 1 to 12, has a 10% chance to turn into werewolf form when getting hit in combat.
- Gains special spells aimed at controlling the lycanthrophic condition.
- At level 12 gains full control over the werewolf form and will no longer be berserking, nor be at risk of an alignment shift to chaotic evil.
Disadvantages:
- Cannot wear armor greater than studded leather.
- Shifting into werewolf form, between levels 1 and 12, will cause the character to berserk (total loss of control while in combat, cannot speak, cast spells or use innate abilities) for one turn.
- Willingly shifting into werewolf form, between levels 1 and 12, will cause the character's alignment to instantly change to chaotic evil and cause the loss of the Silver Fur of Selûne kit.
Special Spells:
- Spell1: Prevent Berserking for a time. + A bonus use. Working title: 'Moon Dust'
- Spell2: Prevent Alignment change if willingly shapeshifting. + A bonus use. W.t.: 'Moon Melody'
WEREWOLF FORM:
Level 1:
- STR +1 / DEX +1 / AC +1 / PHYSICAL RESIST 5% / Regenerates 1 HP every two rounds.
- Transformation lasts until canceled.
- Partial ability to talk and cast spells (85% casting failure - does not affect innate abilities).
- Gains 1 additional attack per round.
- Berserking if character's HP drop below 50%.
- Natural claws are considered to be of +1 enchantment and deal 1d4 slashing damage.
Level 6:
- STR +1 / DEX +1 / AC +2 / PHYSICAL RESIST 10% / Regenerates 1 HP every round.
- Transformation lasts until canceled.
- Partial ability to talk and cast spells (85% casting failure - does not affect innate abilities).
- Gains 1 additional attack per round.
- Berserking if character's HP drop below 50%.
- Natural claws are considered to be of +2 enchantment and deal 1d4+1 slashing damage.
Level 12:
- STR +2 / DEX +1 / AC +2 / PHYSICAL RESIST 15% / Regenerates 1 HP every 3 seconds.
- Transformation lasts until canceled.
- Partial ability to talk and cast spells (65% casting failure - does not affect innate abilities).
- Gains 2 additional attacks per round.
- Berserking if character's HP drop below 50%. (Only if no longer Silver Fur kit.)
- Natural claws are considered to be of +3 enchantment and deal 2d3 slashing damage.
Level 18:
- STR +2 / DEX +2 / AC +3 / PHYSICAL RESIST 20% / Regenerates 1 HP every second.
- Transformation lasts until canceled.
- Partial ability to talk and cast spells (65% casting failure - does not affect innate abilities).
- Gains 2 additional attacks per round.
- Berserking if character's HP drop below 50%. (Only if no longer Silver Fur kit.)
- Natural claws are considered to be of +4 enchantment and deal 2d4+2 slashing damage.
