I am about to play Skyrim again. I would like to hear your suggestions about interesting mods to attach to the game. So far I have the 12 below, plus Falskaar.

"Man, in his discussions with other men about questions of religion, statecraft, geography, trade, has always reached a point in the discussion where it has seemed wise to reply to his opponent by disemboweling him or knocking his brains out."
My name is Thomas Hockenberry, Ph.D., and I think the "Ph.D." stands for "Pouring His Draft."

It depends really what you want in a mod...Do you want a lot of armor/weapons mods? Quests? Graphic enhancing ? etc...

I don't have many installed, and can't remember off the top of my head. The only one I can remember right now is the quest marquers for the Queen Barenziah stones.
Like Vicen said, it depends what you're looking for. I'll beef up the graphics, but don't go for weapon/armor or quest mods.

Thanks to both of you. I don't want a lot of weapon/armor mods, since I can create my own in the game. That is more than enough for me. I would like extra quests, this is why I decided to try Falskaar. I have a large 42'' TV to connect my laptop and therefore I am very much interested in graphic enhancing.

You may have a big monitor, that's all well and good, but you'll have to see what your computer is capable of. With a Dual Core and only 3 gig of RAM, it all hinges on your video card. Back when I had my Dual Core and a GTX260, there was no way I could run at high settings.

How do I find out which video card my laptop uses?

I found it! So, what do you think about my graphic card? Will I be able to install demanding graphic mods?

Unfortunately, I'm unfamiliar with the laptop versions of video cards, For starters, check to see what settings you're using right now. Is the game running smoothly on Ultra and High? Or are you just getting by on Medium. Tinker with the regular settings, install the official HD graphics pack and see how that goes.

I'd say not. I'm running an nVidia GTX560Ti with 1Gb RAM and that can't handle the official HD mod, let alone some of the fan-made ones.

Don't forget the two numbering systems are totally misleading if compared to one another.

I may have played it once, but i didn't know there is an Ultra setting!
I am going to try it and the HD graphic mods. If they work...

I'd recommend getting the SkyUI. It's a much better UI than the default one. It requires the Skyrim Script Extender, but it's worth the extra bit of hassle.

Thanks for the recommendation. I am not in a hurry. I am still shifting through Steam Workshop for mods and the second time around for me is more about the experience and less about the end result since already I know about that. Therefore, the extra bit of hassle is welcome!
