I got through quests 1 and 2 and got Isra up to talk 29 when I realized I was playing with a neutral PC (forgot I created him that way).  I was afraid that would short circuit the romance, so I adjusted it in shadowkeeper, but now Isra hasn't said anything for several game days since, so I think I may have broken something.  Is there a global variable relating to my PC's alignment I can tweak to get the romance back on track?

I changed the romancecheck from 2 to 1.  That seems to have gotten things moving.  Should the romance play out now, or will the friendship variables I already advanced mess something else up down the line.  I guess I'm just asking if I can complete the romance in this current game, with the changed alignment, or am I better off just starting over?

Thanks,

Yeah, I think you were at the end of the friendship track before, so she wouldn't have said anything to you regardless.

I don't think you're going to run into serious technical problems, but there may be some continuity issues, and you've probably missed stuff. Are you starting fresh in BG2 or are you playing the path where you knew her in BG1? If you're doing the former, you'll probably be okay. The latter, you'll definitely want to start over.

I don't have BG1 installed, so that shouldn't be a problem.  Everything seems to be progressing fine since yesterday now.  I'm sure I missed a decent chunk of lovetalks, but at this point, I may just tack her onto the party the next time I play through to see them.  I like the character so much, I'm more interested in getting to the after underdark and ToB content at this point.   Great mod so far.  Way more indepth and lengthy interactions than others I've tried.  Most of the others I've tried seem to run out of dialog not far into chapter 3..
