My experience is little whenusing dltcep. i want to load a small area, indoors, and add it to the new place on the map. i looked over the tutorial that is floating aorund but got lost at the beggining. it was asking for bitmaps and i dont create my own... anyways iot was confusing, sory to that author. want to do the basics and the grow from there... using it for bg2ee. thanks all

Worldmap:

Sadly, editing the WMP for BGEE is not too convenient, because the tool cannot display the new compressed MOS/BAM format. So you have to edit the file "blind". NI can do the same.

If you happen to have the original V1 MOS/mapicons (from the vanilla game), then you can drop them in the override for the time of editing. Then you can edit the worldmap graphically.

Areas:

If you don't have a new BMP for the area art, you must extract and copy the TIS file of the existing area.
