Hey, is there a way to extract all the text from a mod easily and hastily? ;)

Yes, in most cases that will be very simple.

For a mod that comes with tra files (i.e. translation files for multiple languages) you just have to open the mod's folder and look for a folder containing .tra files for your preferred language. (E.g. look for a folder called English if you're looking for English language files).

Those .tra files (there can be multiple) will contain all text the mod adds to the game.

If the mod has not been 'tra-fied' you'll have to look through the mod's tp2 file as well as its .d (uncompiled dialogue) and possibly .bcs files to get all the text.

you can traify dialogues yourself because its apparently not hard. except you need to know the taboo fact that weidu is not a program you simply open. then you just run a multifile search and replace. if you need the lines as thejky are

It's not easily and hastily done, by my reckoning, and I've found it so awkward to mine a .tra file that I can't bring myself to do it anymore, except perhaps to proofread and correct for English. YMMV.

Thanks a lot guys.
Well, the files are traified. If I want to make someone dub them, how do I make it easy for both? For me to give him all the dialogues, and for him to know what he has to read and with which tonality he has to.
