To the Ending for BG1-BGT? Because I thought read somewhere that BGT had it's own version, and it was automatic? I never saw the extended ending to BG1-T, so I don't know what you had to do after Sarevok died. I assume that the EE-BGT1 ending will have to be removed, but the original BG-BGT will remain intact. Unless you can avoid that bridge to BG2, and just start up Adventure Y. It seems like the art assets that were leaked indicated that it did look like a stand-alone, maybe it won't end up breaking any mods at all?

 

 

By the way I noticed that EE editions are now in physical copy in the UK. Is it just like it's American counterpart?

In the BGT I played, it was a long time ago, after you killed Sarevok, you went to talk to Belt, the grand duke of city of BG, who is still at the palace if you remember before Sarevok left, Belt sends you to the BG1:TotSC quests... so there was no change there, after you had done those or refused to do them, you then again talked to Belt, and asked to be sent to Amn, you then have the privilege to sleep in the Three Old Kegs for free, which now can be skipped, then go back to Belt and who then again talked to you and finally sent you to Amn via a dialog -> cinematics -> puff, you are in the BG2:SoA start location.

I don't know how the EET is handling the transition, but it's likely be quite like that, and depending if the Adventure Y's content is any good, it could be included in between the scenes or... just not.

Now, no matter what ever the content of the Adventure Y is going to be, if it's a stand alone package, it won't change much of the moding scene, a mod or 500 of them might need to be made compatible with it too, but over all no matter what ever they do, it's not likely going to be a revolutionary change to the overall experience of the game. So asking this for example:
Hey Alma, I wanted to ask your opinion on Adventure Y coming up for Baldur's gate. Since I figured you know the inner workings of mods. Will this new add-on affect all the mods or will it be stand-alone enough where it does not interfere with anything?
Just reflects badly upon your character. Nothing else.

I'd prefer that BGT remain unchanged (it came first).

As far as the EEs are concerned, there's an EE counterpart to BGT already in the works.  Anyone wanting to go from BGEE to Y to BG2EE will use EET, not BGT.

Excuse me now? All I did was ask another person for a second opinion, and because that is one of the more active users on here since they are hard to find on here, I don't see why you pointed that out, and I don't see how this has anything to do with my character at all.

 

I'm not about to have a mud-slinging contest, so that's all I'm going to say on that matter.

Ouh, I forgot to mention that if you would just go and read one or two tutorials of the weidu moding, you would understand that the answer to this question: "Is Baldur's gate Trilogy going to have to be changed (For EE) due To the Ending for BG1-BGT?" ... can never be a yes. So it can only be a no. Or your lack of understanding of the English language with the phrase: "...going to have to be changed..." and also the capital t in the middle of a sentence, if we pretend it to be a one..

And I am quite sure the answer to your question in the thread in question should give you an answer to the other, but in case you didn't find the subtext in the answer:

I'm not one of the cool kids drones invited to slave over at Beamdog. Or make their living out of making mods, I wish I could, all modders wish, and in my opinion I have the skill set required*, and these lesser human beings are about to get rich... you want piss me more ? Get me to burn your house? Then I am going to burn your house.
