I tried to create the item described in the complicated item tutorial page I'm not sure if the grand mastery proficency is actually being given. Will more astricks show up in the characters info under the proficency section while the item is equiped? Thanks

Should do.

how come you always look so damn cool in every photo I see you in?!?

Speaking of modding, I listened to IER 3 yesterday, so you can have another quote for your signature: how come you sound so damn cool, as well as look it? It's unfair. Seriously.

Still a cyberjock, still hacking the matrix, still unsure of what that means.

I made the eff file chose Proficency Modification put 5 in the prof stars and 90 in the prof type chose target as self and probability was 0 in first box and 100 in second i then saved it as eff. I then went into ieep loaded a regular long sword. added the equipping effect use eff file (II) probability 0-100 target self then put the file name without extention of the eff file in the resource key clicked ok, changed the items name and saved it. I loaded it and equipped it but it still doesnt show that i have the grandmaster proficency. any glaring mistakes i made?

Probability 1 should be 100, Probablity 2 should be 0.

I dont think the eff file is being read by the itm file. The itm file i put in the override folder. I also put the eff file in the override folder is there anything i'm supposed to do to get the eff file to be read?
