I got picture of two of my evil NPC's I want to add can people check for a few seconds my website and tell me what they think, thanks, much appreciated.

If you have any questions you can ask me aswell of course.

Perhaps I can once open several threads under a forum room so all the indivdual ideas of the NPC's and other ideas can be discussed. (Beginning modder with a hope for a great future )

One thing to note: I'd heavily advise you to change Vega's name to something else. Believe it or not, you can get into major copyright troubles.

Good idea! Just as a hint: try to avoid background images (tiled ones are the worsed) that interfere with reading your page. I write this, because I hope more text to come soon and then it will be a pain in the neck to read this over the smudgy blurred thingy in the background.

Vega name change got it, was thinking about copyrighting problems aswell, but I just like the ring of that name. But then the back-up name Zartran

The one female pic is a Luis Royo pic, and his permission issue states that he doesn't like having his artwork put into games. Whether this is actually pursued or not, I have no idea.

Yep, but there could be troubles implementing the "masked" look. It would be somewhat disappointing to have him in-game without any masks like that on the picture.
About Ariena: why are her theets big??! She isn't a Vampire, nor a fiend, right?

I'm sorry at the site where I downloaded the pic (www.kirith.com) it did not state this, but I will give him the credit for his work. But I will give a more green skin then and why the big teeth? Well she is a Half-Orc.

Planning to give Zartran a mask don't worry. I'm thinking of either modifying the King Sthrom III Mask (if i'm spelling this correct) or a Ioun stone in such a way it looks like a mask.

An ORC?? Ehm, truly, I wouldn't want to sound picky, but hey, that one is a picture of a PRETTY (yet evil-looking) female human! No female half-orc would ever look like that woman, I'd advise you to reconsider that portrait choice for her - try the NWN or ToEE selections, there are loads of female half-orc portraits there.

Are you planning to modify the helmet avatar in-game???!!! That would require tremendous work.. you'll have to edit and re-draw every single frame for the monk character...

I don't know if that mask falls under the real helmet category as I believe I could even let my thief were it. I have a life with a monk and if a monk can were it. I need to copy the file and just redo the look of it. that would save me time I hope (if it works). If not I might need to chance an Ioun stone at least monks can were those. If you have another idea just tell me. I would love to know. I don't know how much work it is I'm just beginning with modding, so don't discourage me okay?

Besides talking about weird things, the half-orc I play as leading character can wear Cothala's armor???

And korgan can cast of restoration scroll???

Umm, I still think that this one is some half-fiend half-human woman, but I'd never say hlaf-orc. Way too pretty, with absolutely human features (line of face, the lips, the nose, the eyes, simply everything). Besides, the greenish color of her skin is a bit odd. I'd still advise using a real half-orc portrait for her.

Actually, this is much more difficult. First, that mask of Strohm falls under the Helm category and uses the helmet animation in-game (you can see the characters face completely). To make it look like a mas would require to edit every single frame of the helm animation, which takes several days EVEN IF you are a competent drawer with BamWorkshop.
Ioun stones have no animation at all, they only appear in the inventory. They wouldn't help you to add a mask animation for your monks in-game avatar.
The only solution for this is to create the new frames for the mask, as described above. Good luck with it, though I'd warn you - that is a most difficult task.

No, don't get me wrong - you have great ideas, I'd be the first to use the mask type helmets!

If I do make these mask avatars will all the helms look like masks or can I just make an exception for Zartran. I would rather have that then changing all the helmes. Can one not make exceptions?

I also thought up of perhaps a better idea. People at Forgotten Wars Project forum told me that paperdolls aren't hard coded. Now I already thought about doint that perhaps for Zartran. What if I made the mask for his paperdoll? Can I make his monk paperdoll exclusive for him only? Then I can redo an Ioun stone picture, but his mask will just be in the paperdoll (the mask was already meant to be never removeable).

This is the idea, I wanted the change already in the portrait but not completly. Why let me tell you Meastro, she will tell you in the game, but she is no normal half-orc!

She was left to die by her mother after she was raped by her daddy the Orc. Cause her mother couldn't bare that her blood would be tainted with such a child.... her mother is an ...... aasimar! That is why I want her to have good looks. Besides the other part of her history (fighting in pits for soul survival) this is why she hates good so much. They are weak and they lie, they leave their own children to perish. I can drop this part of the history, but it was planned. That is why she has the good looks

Tiefling is a part demon person, what is an aasimar then? are they part deva or something like that?

How 'pure' a half-orc is she? If you wanted her to look that human, perhaps someone in her direct ancestry was raped by an Orc, and she's inherited a few genes along the line, two or three generations on? Or are Aasimar genes too holy and great to be corrupted fully by orc blood? It's worth a thought.

I though the latter part, since Aasimars (yes coming from a Deva felstorm), tieflings, chaonds and zenythris feel very long the lineage of their inheritance, thus is strong blood.

Charisma bonuses that aasimars receive are do to their looks, that's why I want to keep her pretty beautifull. Some orc features are visible, but she remains having some beauty. She is meant to be half-orc, not a quater-orc (or whatever you want to call it as I would like to let her have 19 strength, she will be talking poorly thanks to her Int.)

I think around 15:15 I will have all bio's up and running on the website

Oh by the way Felstorm if everything goes as I want it, she will give your evil characters a reason to whipe out the Order of the Radiant Heart
