Hi, I've been trying to play this great game, I have past the Mortuary no problem and have mostly started the "Hive" area...

Though now I'm having problems there, every time I try to go inside somewhere (such as Angyar's house and the way back to the mortuary) when the loading screen is on the game closes and gives me an error "An Assertion failed in D:\Torment\Source\baldur\CVisibility.cpp at line number 1526"...I have tried countless things, deleting auto save, re-installing the game and trying it without any mods, with only one or two different mods at a time, pretty much everything, any fix out there on the net is usually to resolve "809" but mine is 1526 and those solutions don't work.

I have also looked at the .ini and found no reference to "D" (which is my CD/DVD drive) and the path to the game's installation was correct (in some cases with some other people it was wrong so correcting it worked for them but not for me).

None of this happened the first time I got to the Hive...it started happening once I wanted to return to Angyar's house and then I tried others to see if it happened everywhere and it does...mostly, it doesn't happen in one of the houses where a female mage is practicing spells.

I don't know what to do anymore, I really want to play the game and if anybody could help me it would be great.

1.5gb ram

Hi, I don't know if this is the right topic but I wanted simple help with Planescape Torment which I'm playing for the first time and I find great...

For the life of me I can't figure out such a simple and stupid command in the game, how do I drop items from my inventory? why isn't that option obvious like in most PC RPGs? I can't see it everywhere, not even in the control bindings at all...I know it's a stupid question but would appreciate the help, thanks a lot in advance.
