Rihanna portrait!

Some time has passed since I made this though I haven't made any other ones... yet!

Took about 20 minutes to make.

Okay, here's the deal! After a day of thinking I finally came up with the idea of painting Spiderman, the painting took about 4 hours to complete, I'm unable to attach a reference picture at this moment but feel free to use google or something, I will add one though, if one is requested.

I'm painting using a grid, so I did not trace this image, neither did I pick up any colors from the original picture. I'm not very good at this yet but I'm improving every time I make a new portrait. Next time I post a picture I'll make sure to include some WIP pictures aswell.

Well, started Photoshop this morning and started drawing from scratch, googled some pictures to have references for arms and the head.

So keep in mind that this picture is painted from scratch and its the second picture like this I've ever made.

Here's what I've got atm:

1) Faceless but pretty much done with the first part.

2) Added face - tried to look on like 1000 pictures to find a girl that looked the same way so I could see how the lips and nose looked like from that angle, this is the result.

Just started to paint with my tablet, before I've only used it to enhance photographs and writing.

Anyways, I'm making this picture of my girlfriend, from scratch. At the moment its faceless because I'm saving that part for last, don't ask me why though, focusing on getting the body done at the moment.

3; Added a background and fixed the left ( from viewers perspective ) shoulder to make it look a little more femaleish

Any tips are welcome, I think the face will be the thoughest part to make, so if anyone has any suggestions...
