How does Aegis work?

It says it protects against the first Spell protection removal spell. Does that mean the first one dispels Aegis? Or do the rest of the benefits of Aegis stay even after blocking the first spell? What does the combat log say this happens?

Assuming I have the latest SR and SCS installed, which spells dispel Aegis? Spell Thrust, Secret Word, Pierce Magic, Pierce Shield, RRR, Khelben's, Spellstrike?

If Aegis and SCS's Spell Shield (level 5 spell that protects against the first spell protection removal spell) are both active, which one gets dispelled first?

That's about it really. I tried replacing BODTAN.CRE with older backup versions from mod backup folders, but none of them worked. I don't really know how NI works, but I took a look, and it says "None" for Override, Class, Race, General and Default scripts. That's bad right? Also, when I click on the Dialog field ("BODTAN.DLG") in the little window thing below with all the DLG options, has "None" selected, and BODTAN.DLG is not there. Did the DLG file disappear?

Liches and other high level spellcasters especially (like the Alhool in the Illithid tunnels in the sewers). They do the little floaty text thing over their heads, and use a line from the Buried Alive quest, TIRDIR.DLG:

"Thank you... I shall do my best to locate these men and bring them to justice."

I'm suspecting it's Smarter Mages from SCS v24, but I figured I'd post it here to see others' thoughts?

Sewer battle in BG2 CTD

Halfway through battle with Tarnor the Hatchetman and his party, not sure what happened, but game CTDs.
