An update - call it "kreso's random ramblings about mods" :P and BW in general.
 
- The Bigg Tweaks - 3rd editon style stats. Unless you're willing to spend an afternoon removing extra unwanted saves which are applied via a spell which is applied numerous times on the same character (and it shouldn't be), I'd skip this. Don't be surprised if Viconia has a -10 save vs spells at level 9. :huh:

I'm particularly worried by this one, since I installed it and I am already well ahead in BG1.
Can you detail a bit better what is the problem and how it can be fixed (without reinstalling)?
Besides,is it true that these component also break saving throws progression for multi class and dual class characters?

There is a problem installing Item Revisions main component with BGT: weapons do not shatter as they should in BG1 part of game.

 

Item revisions overwrites items and does not include the shatttering effect added by BGT.

 

In fact, characters have active scripts to make weapons shatter, but without the effect associated to each item, weapons cannot shatter.

 

Maybe someone (Lollorian??) can make a code correction to item revisions in order to include BGT shattering effect. 

 

Or you could, you know, report this to the mod authors.  In this case, it's something we're aware of and a fix has already been coded for the next version of the mod.  If you don't want to wait, this is the code we will be using.

 

Thank you! I suppose I can just make a .tp2 file with this code and run Weidu, right?

Hello, I'm using BWS for a customized Big World install, I selected IMproved Ilyich from Tactics and had no warnings about incompatibilities, now I am at the half of the install and read on BWP manual that Improved Ilyich is incompatible with BGT.

 

Do you know if the incompatibilty has been solved by latest BWS (so it was not signalled) or if it's still there, and if it is game-breaking.

 

I would like not to have to re-start the installation from the beginning.
