How should I solve Monster summoning III cause the game to hang?

When the Monster Summoning III (SPWI504.SPL) is cast by an enemy mage (f.e. in (BP)MAGE12*.BCS), the game hangs.

I can cast the spell myself without problems, all monsters that are summoned (in monsum03.2da) can be created with CLUA without problems. Replacing SPL file with original doesn't help - only way to prevent it is to remove that line from AI script - but that is something i'd like to avoid for now. Are there any suggestions on how to fix such issues with summoning spells if anyone had anything similar?
