Again, I just checked G3's homepage and found BG2 fixpack had been updated to v3, shall and how can I install this newest version without causing crashs and unnecessary overwriting?

Weidu's installation is somewhat a horrible job, for even I have only one mod's one component re-/un-installed, I have to wait unhelplessly all the afterwards installed mods' being reinstalled.

Are you useing the fix pack? Which version? Search for unkillable trolls. If that does help, please post your weidu log.

My thanks for your kind reply.

I did use G3's BG2 fixpack v2, and I also had UB1.5 installed - seems it is UB that incurs the bug of unkillable trolls according to some in this forum.

Other unkillable trolls I may simply choose to run away, but as to Torgal I'm not sure wheter the story would still go on and remain undamaged if I leave it unkilled too, so think I shall try some death or petrification spells on it. Wish it works!

BTW, could problems of this kind be resolved with shadowkeeper?

I made a mistake, not Candlekeep Chore incurs the problem.
I tested all to-be-installed mods one by one, and finaly located the criminal: it's BG1NPC project!!!

clean BG1+ToSC and BG2+TOB, both offical-pacthed.
have BP+BGT installed (incl. BP family and CTB, ROT), plus some other weidu mods (GOTH and Item upgrade, and some NPC mods)

problems:

1. no reform-party dialogue, once removed from the party, i cannot have NPCs rejoined. (original NPC can be dialogued, but no join-party selection - appears to me the system thinks that NPC already in the team; while mod-NPC "has nothing to say"...)

2. with the game progressing to later stages (maybe abt. 1/3 of the whole gameplay), frame rate obviously slow down and the superannoying lag prevents me from continuing playing.(for intense, the raining effect no longer smooth, rain...stop...rain...stop...), my pc is absolutely sufficient for BGII's requirement, i think, and even i turn off all special effects and 3d acceration and set the resolution as 640, the problem remains. then, if i open a new game or even load an enough earlier save, smooth again.

btw, in a clean SOA+TOB, i can play through the game meeting no any lags, so i think the question may arise from some installed mods.

deadly wish sb could help me out!

I resolved the first problem by just unistalling CTB's candlekeep chores:)
Think those encoutering similar problem may try the same.
