If Balinor07 is playing with an unfixed version of BPv177 - and it appears so - it's "just" a bug. Afair BP messed that area up. Instead of fighting a giant troll and his cronies, you're getting a bunch of normal trolls.

I don't know if it's an unfixed BP but the trolls are: one normal, one snow, one spectral. Can this bug be fixed at this point?

I uninstalled the worldmap then installed again and got the map back with no crashes thus far. Thanks again Azazello and Erebusant.

Try CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("ar0020") to get back to the City Gates, then see if you can get to other map locations by the regular (walking) method. Hopefully, the area crash problem is contained to Windspear Hills.

I CLUAed to umar hills before reading your reply. Tried to leave umar off the area edge and game crashed. CLUAed to city gates and tried to leave, game crashed. Reloaded and CLUAed to city gates, tried to look at world map, game crashed.

Have you tried re-installing the Worldmap?

No I haven't. I researched this a little but wasn't sure I could do it in the middle of a game without messing with my current game.

Do you know how to use CLUA console? Just 'jump' to the area you want to go to.

I have CLUA console installed and have attempted to CLUA crom fayr for the torgal problem but was unsuccessful. This was a first time use for me. I searched the net for a how to use CLUA but got nowhere. I'll give this "jump" method a shot. I've bookmarked a site with cheat codes that I got from one of the SHS forum threads.
