Werewolf's bug

When in the werewolfs' island, after killing the Greater Werewolf in the northern part, he's supposed to drop some loot, among which there should be a baby from a woman in the town to the south. The problem is, he doesn't drop ANYTHING. This could seem more or less irrelevant, but, after finishing the island and going to Durlang's (sp?) Tower, CORAN CHANGES INTO A GREATER WEREWOLF WHICH DROPS THE BABY AFTER KILLING HIM!!!!!! That's really annoying. I've killed the greater werewolf in the island several times (from an earlier save game), but it still doesn't drop any loot. Some1 knows the CLUA command for creating the baby, so the game thinks the werewolf dropped it? Perhaps Coran won't turn into one after travelling. Or any other solution?
Thx.

As I understand, the baby (Peladan, MISC96) is just part of a side quest and not important. In my game to the baby wasn't dropped.
What is important is that when you return from Werewolf island you and your party are infected with lycantrophy. To cure the infection you must kill the leader of the werewolf tribe that infected you.
You must speak to Baresh, who meets you at the dock when you return to Ulgoth's Beard. Then go and see Mendas, the guy who hired you. After that things will be clear to you.....

I just had to kill Mendas to get cured.
What I have found is that when you have killed Mendas the global "WereFinish" should be set to 1. Maybe it hasn't and that causes Coran to change to werewolf when you leave.
Try
CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("WereFinish","GLOBAL",1)
Before you leave UB, maybe that will help.

Thx.
EDIT: Tried it, didn't work. After 2 days, Coran turns into a werewolf. Any idea? Thx.

This is what you type to check the value of a global.
CLUAConsole:GetGlobal("xxxxxxxx","GLOBAL")
I did some testing in my game, I had saves before killing Mendas and
before leaving UB after I had killed him.
If I leave UB without killing Mendas, my party turns into werewolf's. If I kill Mendas and leave UB everything is ok.
I also tried to set global WereFinish to 1 and leave UB without killing Mendas, it didn't work, my party was changed to werewolf's. So I guess that there is another variable that decides if you are cured, but I haven't found it yet.
NearInfinity is a very good program to use when are troubleshooting theese kind of problems.

EDIT: Checked the Globals and b4 killing Mendas the variable WereFinish doesn't exist, after killing him its value is 1, but Coran still transforms.

I made a mistake in my last post. Infinity Explorer is the program I'm using. Can be found here.

But NI is the better program. IE doesn't see all the new areas of BP and you can't change anything. However, that is an advantage if you don't know what you are doing.Hi,
I made a mistake in my last post. Infinity Explorer is the program I'm using. Can be found here.

NI will show you all the areas, scripts, etc. As long as you don't modify the files, this is a better program to track weird bugs like the werewolf problem.

I'm sure that you are correct when you say that NI is the better program, but I find it to be more complicated to use, maybe because I havn't learnd how to use it. I can't even set it up without getting loads of errors.
IE I find very easy to use.

BG and BGII don't usually de-increment globals: if a thing is finished, the global increments to the next integer, to prevent the thing from happening a second time. so if the INFECTED plot is finished, it should be set to 2.

I did some more testing in my game.
If I leave UB before killing Mendas my party becomes werewolfs.
If I leave UB after killing Mendas, no werewolfs.
In this case I have value 1 for the variables infected and werefinish.
After killing Mendas I also got a variable that is called "SPRITE_IS_DEADMENDAS3" this is set to 1. If I change this to 0, my party transforms when leaving UB.

The Karoug/baby bug was one I fixed in one of my G patches that seems to not have been included in the v3.13 patch as it was supposed to be. (It's not the first that's fallen through the cracks.) On the list for the next patch.
