Curious as to if BG1NPC will ever be made compatible with BGT-SoBH-BP-NeJ? Understandable if not, cool if so.

I hope so. I don't think any of the modders for the project have BGT or BP/BGT installed (so I don't think any time soon). I am not sure how hard it would be to convert.

Let them know you would like a BGT and BP/BGT version of their great mod.

not to dump anyone in it or anything, but i seem to recall hlid said on plaguezone that he was preparing a BGT version. there was no ETA - i think he was waiting on a more stable version of BG1 NPC being released first. or maybe he was waiting for idiots like me to stop volunteering him for more work? <_<

There is a BGT version in the works. As with any mod, questions about deadlines will be ignored. :)

ATM, the effort is still to get BG1NPC completed and running perfectly in tutu. The programmers are on record as not wanting to debug the project for two similar (but not identical) game conversions at the same time. Once the primary goal is accomplished, the likelihood of a BGT-compatible version would rise if someone had already compiled a complete list of BG1 area file numbers as used in BGT. It would rise further if any other name-altering conventions from BGT could be listed completely. For instance, the joinable NPCs who appear in both BG1 and SoA have identically named scripts and dialogs. How is this handled in BGT?

Edit: must've been a real good question to get three simultaneous answers.

A very stable working beta is sitting on my harddrive. I just have to clean the puppy up a bit, then send it off to the BG1NPC gang to either cremate, set up as a second download, or integrate with the regular project. I may get to that over the next couple of days. Depends on how work goes. (And whether I get shanghai'd into another project/patch over the next few days!) <_<
