
Bug or desired result?

I couldn't find any discussion specifically around armor breakage due to poison damage. (I apologize if I missed it.) Not sure if this is a desired result, or if can or should be addressed. It's interesting to note, with poison damage lasting several rounds, the odds of breaking armor after getting poisoned is much higher than during combat.
FYI - I just have the base BGT install, no other mods. (0.99 zeta version).
PS: I'm really enjoying the mod so far, great job! Very solid!

There is a local variable for each non-magical armour and weapon equiped to be broken, it's just a bad luck in my opinion.

Thanks for the feedback, Halleck. The poison damage certainly hasn't been thought of, and any damage effects over time will probably have the same effects as poison. I posted a little snippet of creativeness above as a jovial response. There certainly has been much talk about item shattering before, and although the current state is probably not realistic, so is having a mechanic called 'Hit Points', for example. Improvements on this feature may be worked on later, but I can't guarantee anything at the moment. Next time poison shatters your armor, remember the above quote.
