North of the Friendly Arm Inn?

I can't go north of the Friendly Arm Inn using BGT-Weidu 0.99 Zeta.

I am still near the begining of the game, but that shouldn't matter. I loaded up BG1 (using the BG1 engine), and I could go straight from meeting Imoen outside Candlekeep, over to the Inn, and then north. This lead me to the screen where Ajantis starts, it is also the main route to Baldur's Gate. I know you can't get into Baldur's Gate until much later in the game, but I used to be able to get closer than the Friendly Arm Inn. Using BGT, If I leave the Inn map to the north, no new areas appear for me to travel to.

I can continue to play anyway, just to see if the route will open up later, but it should be open from the start.

The route will open up later, and it was intentional not to give access to Baldur's Gate till later. I guess this intention can be removed.

btw. What was the reason for locking out the areas north of the Friendly Arm Inn? I don't think you can get into the city that early anyway. If there is a good reason, maybe it should be considered for the tweakpack.

I believe it was simply my oversight on the matter. However, it means you can go to Ulgoth's Beard from Chapter 2, which shall be quite interesting if you dare go there...

I am not sure if you can get to Ulgoth's Beard. The exit from the Bridge map that can take you to the Beard is across the river and you can't travel over the bridge just yet. Once across, you can go North to Wenric's farm (guy with the zombie problem) and then North again to the Beard. But since the bridge is closed, you shouldn't be able to get there. Unless there is another passage through the Bandit Camp or some other map. NTotSC doesn't allow access this way either.

Tired of Bhaal? Try some classics mods instead:

You might be right. However the BGT-WeiDU-resident worldmap is quite DIFFERENT from Yacomo's BP-BGT Worldmap since the first release of ZETA, so it really depends on whether people are playing pure BGT-WeiDU or it along with the mega-modification.

The right side of the Bridge area is blocked by trees. I haven't looked at the Zeta map but did you change a link that would allow for this? If so, I am not sure what problems this could make for NTotSC, though I don't think any problems would occur.

I always travel to the Wenric's farm through the right side of the map. Ontop from Tania's home. Even in original BG_ToSC.

Ah, I didn't realize they made the Search map with a transition area all the way across the top of the map. It always looks to me like the trees block your access.

Ascension, this would be the easiest way stop anyone getting there, just fix the AR7900SR.BMP file to block access to the farm. That way, players can still wander up to the bridge but can't access the city.


Is there anyway i can access the area north of Friendly Arm Inn now? I always hit it so i can recruit Ajantis. Any help on this would be appreciated.

Actually the area south is still not available i still only get the Friendly Arms Inn...what is the area code for the area just north of the FAI?

The area forthe farm is AR8300.

Took care of it last night...Thanks for the help...Thanks for the help...just always liked getting Adjuntis and the great XP taking down (and saving constantly) the bugs and the Flail +1...Plus the armor of course that i can get made.
