I don't know where to put, but I think BGT is the mod which has the most to do with general BG1 things.
Perhaps it is possible to revise some strange reputation drops in the game? Or perhaps some other mod has done this before?

The example which made me angry most, was the shadowdruid at the bridge who asks after alliances with the iron throne. If the pc confirms this (just to cheat the druid; who knows if the druids work not for the throne) a killing of the druid leads to a drop of 6 reputation points. Half of my party left the group!

You know what I mean ...?

The druid doesn't work with the throne.. choose the other response to see what i mean. His just testing you, he will then ask you to go see another druid to help stop them.

No druid would ever work for the iron throne as they are cutting down the forest

However if you want i can send you a file to put in your override to change the reputation drop to a max of 1(or none). Or you could just install the happynpc tweak (which i dont like). I also use my own custom happy.2da file to make npc reactions to your alignment more severe & realistic.

And I am pretty sure that the core BGT-WeiDU installation by itself doesn't cause any of this.

I know that the druid does not work for the throne. But the CHARACTER does not know this at this point in the game and I find it strange that he is punished simply for not knowing the facts.

Also I know that it is no BGT problem, but whom can I adress to change that odd reputation drop?
I think that this is a thing that any mod could change to the better ... or not?

Ok...when u enter BG u still don't know who is working for Iron Throne and who is not...It however don't mean u can kill everyone around just because of lack of knowledge. Don't treat the game so seriously ...it might resolve all ur problems :)

But I didn't want to kill the poor shadowdruid, my character just tought he could get some extra information.
Are you not curious if someone asks you if you are part of some organisation of which you know nothing and promises more information if you confirm? You could know that confirming resulted in a fight?
In roleplaying it is surely not such a heavy fault to do a little subtle deception, that your reputation drops to almost zero.

But I'm afraid, I'm spamming ...

Being honest is considered a trait of good aligned people & being dishonest is a bad trait to have, regardless of the situation. - the choice you made with your character is one that belong's to a true-neutral to chaotic-evil characters, so if your characters within that range the alignment drop is entirly justified.

However, You've have hit on a key problem with roleplaying games & that is that they try to take characters perception into account.. so if you change character&perception the result of your actions now become incorrect. So even tho an apparently good person was trying to kill you; because you killed a good person you suffer for it.

A better system would be if a reputation drop only occur's when your the one to initiate combat

No, it is not.
I was only searching for any mod team who could fix - or better: improve - this.

I don't think BG1NPC adds anything to this NPC. DSotSC adds a few new actions to the dialog to give you a staff if you are nice to him. It also gives him more magic items to use against you if you do attack him. I think the reputation issue is just something Bioware did that I also don't like. Personally, what happens in the woods or in dungeons, stays there. No one is going to report back to the town of Beregost that you killed a shadow druid. Even if so, I would think there would be a celebration waiting for you to thank you. Shadow Druids aren't exactly the "friends" of human communities.
