Hey, it's me again...
I have come up w/ another mod idea. Sir billybob's mod (bone hill) was a blast, i enjoyed it very much. The whole cult following you around for the blue dragon staff was intense. My idea was if you ended up running into them in BGII. Come to find out they are a cult that travels the realms (planes) looking for item's that have been forged and created w/ imense power (dont have to be the best of weapons) but i thought that it should take place after you have killed Firrkragg in the windspear hill's . Upon leaving you run into a small portion of the cult, coming to give Firrkragg some item in exchange for the Holy avenger sword. And so thro out the game you will continue running into them, until you return from spellhold they will be much more agressive. Taking the holy avenger and the flail of ages if you have it. From here you will run into one of the cultists who ran away from the fight (right after the battle) and he will give you a map to the location of their cult. At this time you will still have the blue dragon staff due to the fact that you found it in irenicus's dungeon. So you go to cult's base, to find that their leader isnt even from this plane, so you have to go to sigil to end the mod. (in the cult's base you will recover the items that they had taken from you, and more good items, in witch i would happily enjoy helping with). Just think about it...

Not a bad idea, aside from the assumption that people will necessarily kill Firkraag before leaving for Spellhold...

"Tyranny is a quiet thing at first, a prim and proper lady pursing her lips and shaking her head disapprovingly, asking, well what were you doing (wearing that dress, walking home at that hour, expressing those inappropriate thoughts) anyway? It's subtle and insidious, disguised as reasonable precautions which become more and more oppressive over time, until our lives are defined by the things we must avoid. She's easy enough to agree with, after all, she's only trying to help -- and yet she's one of the most dangerous influences we face, because if she prevails, it puts the raping, robbing, axe-wielding madmen of the world in complete control. Eventually they'll barely need to wield a thing, all they'll have to do is leer menacingly and we fall all over ourselves trying to placate them." -godlizard

Hey thank's! I have also thought that the reason for the blue dragon staff being in irenicus's dungeon is because he himself has pledged alegiance to the cult. It does'nt have to be the longest mod, just a mod to discover what the cult that follows you in bone hill really is. I have alway's wondered and this is just the way i myself would see it ending. Some cool twist, maybe a bhaal spawn is controlling the cult with some outer planer creature. I dont know, just ideas.

I assume you mean he's working with them for mutual gain, since becoming a servant of anyone would be totally foreign to his nature...

If you enjoyed bone hill you should try Classic Adventures. Sir BillyBob and I have worked hard to create a Bhaal free conversion. Sir BillyBob's best work is Classic Adventures.

Hey...
Having a bhaal spawn in it was just an idea! If sir billybob doesnt want bhaal spawn's in his mod's then that's cool. Just let him know about this idea with the cult and see if he like's it, and if he does, please convince him to make it! I myself enjoy mod's that have twists (Bonehill for instance). Anyways just think about. And yes he is working with them so that in the end he could gain some item of value or something of that sort. (Power)?

Hey leahnkain...
I read some of the basics to the classic adventure's mod that you spoke of. So basically it is a totally different story (game) based in the forgotten realms genre? Do you think that it may be possible to maybe add the quest part's of it somewhere into BGI game. Maybe after returning from Bone Hill the first time. The mod in general sounded interesting and fun, i would like to take a wak at it. But dont want to start a new game to play it. Just trying to give some ideas to your mod. It did say in the readme that there was going to be some new quest's somewhere along the way. And just wondering (if you do take my advice and ideas to putting it on BGI) if you could find it in your heart to think about putting this mod into the new quest's, but i personally think that my mod would fit better in BGII...

You would have to ask Sir BillyBob if he wants to include this to CA. I don?t think it really fits with the concept of CA, but then again I have been wrong. I am unsure if he plans to add more to Bone Hill but I am confident if you enjoy Bone Hill you will like CA equally as much.
BTW, why don?t you register? Your ideas are very creative. Spellhold Studios is a great community which always welcomes the ideas of others.
