Has anyone played the Vindicator? If so, were you able to create the Death Reaper blade at Level 14?

My poor Vindicator seems to have the Drain/Energy immunity, but alas... when he reached level 14, no new icons, swords or abilities showed up. :(

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Don't know why the problem. Until The Powers That Be can investigate further, are you just looking to get the sword? If so, use the command

CLUAConsole:CreateItem("UNDSLAY")

to get it.

Thanks but that only partially helped.  I was able to create the sword but then it was unusable. :(

Here's a screenshot of my Vindicator; you can see where the Death Reapers swords are flagged 'unusable'.

Yeah, it means one of the UNusability flags is set that shouldn't be. A game editor like Near Infinity is needed to get it set properly.

One, I'm pretty sure you don't know what the hell I'm talking about. Don't sweat it.

Two, I don't have TDD installed so I can't fix it for you. Sorry. So hopefully someone who does will come along and attach a corrected ITM file.

Here is a partial attempt at fixing in a more recent thread

I installed TDD nonWeidu 103 and the Vindicator could not create the weapon at level 14. Eternal bug?

Wouldn't be surprised. We know a lot more about efficient coding since the pre-WeiDU days, I think all the kits should be reviewed.

omg necro-posting!!! >=o
hah, just joking, relax. i would throw my couple of cent and challange somebody to "refresh" the whole TDD mod. i would risk calling it one of the biggest if not the biggest mod ever created for IE based game, which took tons of effords and ocean of work and time to be accomplished. would be a great shame if this kind a epic mod would sink and become forgoten. and yea - as i write this - wanting to play with TDD is a choice betwen TDD - and the rest of mods, as the rate of incompatibility is incredible huge

I agree and I think a new version of TDD could be possible soon with some minor bug fix additions and call it 1.12a. If there are other major contributions like translations than I would raise it to 1.13.

No chance of that happening, we've been supporting this mod for years.

Don't know what you're waiting for, plenty of people have been including TDD in their installation without any trouble - see BiG World Project as an example.

I really hope you're not talking about the non-WeiDu version of TDD, that was updated years ago.

If you got a list of changes/bugfixes needed for the mod, let's have 'em. Make a new thread (include the version number, please!), so others can also contribute. woot! Hoppy did it for you: http://www.shsforums...showtopic=38117
