1) Is version 1.04 the latest available version ?
2) Is it necessary to have Tales of the sword coast installed or does BGT-WeiDU also work without it ?
3) I have the german version of Baldur's Gate 1, Baldur's Gate 2 and Throne of Baal. Is the english version of "Tales of the sword coast" compatible with my german version ?
4) Is BGT-WeiDU compatible with the german version of the BG Series ?
So that's it for now, i hope anyone here can help me, since i really want to play the series again.

yes, you can even convert your English TotSC to a German text with the German text patch. Check the readme.3) I have the german version of Baldur's Gate 1, Baldur's Gate 2 and Throne of Baal. Is the english version of "Tales of the sword coast" compatible with my german version ?
If this is the Atari Compilation, no.4) Is BGT-WeiDU compatible with the german version of the BG Series ?

I checked what i believe is the readme but i was a bit confused since it said "version 1.03". Maybe you overlooked this or i had the wrong readme. Anyway i guess there's not much of a difference anyway. Well, since you said the english TotSC version can be converted to a german version, at least textwise, i'll try that. I mean, i have no problems with english versions at all but it can get kind of confusing when you have some text in english and some text in german. I assume i just have to install the english version of TotSC like i would do normally (that's the point i was unsure about - i mean if it is possible at all) and then convert some language files.
Luckily i have no Compilation since i bought every game by itself when it came out back then.
Thanks again for the help, i'll try as you told me.

If this is the Atari Compilation, no.
I have Spanish Atari Compilation and it IS compatible with BGT-WeiDU. Why did you say that is NOT compatible with it?

The English version of the compilation has been confirmed incompatible with BGT-WeiDU. I don't know the particulars. If this is the Atari Compilation, no.

Then you have the wrong version. Try finding a more up-to-date mirror to download v1.04 from. The filename should be BGT104-Install.rarI checked what i believe is the readme but i was a bit confused since it said "version 1.03".

So i just downloaded BGT-WeiDU and BP. I'm just a bit confused if i am installing it the right way. This is my first time ever, installing a BG Mod and i already have read the readme files. I installed BG1 and TotSC already, then patched it (and used the german textpatch from MK). I'm just now installing BG2 and ToB then patching it. My question is how to proceed from there on. Do i simply install BP and then just go on to install BGT-WeiDU ? I think i'm going to do that but like i said i'm doing this for the first time so it's a bit confusing to me.
Now i just would like to know if that's the right install order and well yeah, basically that's it.

Custom Menu Screens/Full Baldur?s Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast music
This is integrated into Baldur?s Gate Trilogy-WeiDU. Switch to your Baldur?s Gate Trilogy installation directory, and run Setup-GUI.exe. Select the type of menu screen that you would like. Selecting one of the Baldur?s Gate Trilogy-WeiDU menu screens will also install full Baldur?s Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast music. If you do not install this, then no Baldur?s Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast music will be heard in the corresponding portion of the game. Note that if you try to play Shadows of Amn and/or Throne of Bhaal with the full Baldur?s Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast music, the music you will hear in Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal will be incorrect. For best results, when you decide that you want to play Shadows of Amn and/or Throne of Bhaal, uninstall the Baldur?s Gate Trilogy-WeiDU menu screen to restore the default music, which leaves the Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal music intact.
Does that mean that i'll have no music when i only install BGT-WeiDU or does that mean that these problems only occur if i decide to run the Setup-GUI ?

It means "To get correct music, run Setup-GUI." If you don't, you don't get no music, but you do get the wrong music.Does that mean that i'll have no music when i only install BGT-WeiDU or does that mean that these problems only occur if i decide to run the Setup-GUI ?

I have to admit it was quite a bit confusing to me, that a GUI (graphical user interface) has anything to do with background music but well, if thats the way it is, i have no problem with it.
