Hi I'm at the cave where I'm supposed to get the Shadow Mark but once I talk to the shadow that's supposed to have it (middle one) he doesn't respond in any way...talk options to him are thus:
1.You have it! You have the mark.
2.The mark has been in your hands all along.Clever , Clever. now give it to me.

once I saw that it wasn't working I tried to skip it using ctrl+j to go kill that green golem thingy but once I killed it I still cant continue to the next map. it says "A shock of energy stuns you. You can't go forward."

can anyone help me please

EDIT: I've discovered the special patch post (eh ...should make it sticky) but now the game crashes whenever I try to exit to the next level. help please?
