...As for the songs, I haven't heard any of them yet, though the NPC mods deliver their sounds audibly (both those that are soundsets, and go in the sounds folder, and those that go in the override folder). I do have a lot of NPC mods installed, but I do plan to use all of them.

BG will crash on startup if there are too many songs listed. This is not just a Mac issue but also for PC. The file is actually a text file that you can look at with TextEdit to see if there are too many songs. You can then delete the excess lines from the file and save it.

The Saerileth mod adds areas (other-planar, at that!), but I haven't experienced any difficulties with those...yet *fingers crossed).

Mac-ized mods have OSX in their name. Saerileth is a normal PC mod so Install-mod will work fine.

Yep, and I've been keeping that in mind, and hoping that more Mac versions of mods will be made available in the near future When I grow up, I might learn how to make mods, too

Well, the whole point of Install-tools is that a special Mac version is not needed. I'd hate to see all that effort go to waste.

Oh, yeah, huh? *L* In that case, I'm VERY glad Install-tools was created! Just wish it would always handle the audio, as there aren't many batch converters out there that we don't have to spend money to get...and my demo for Music Man just expired
