At the very beginning I'd like to say hi to you all, cuz this is my first post here.

I've recently installed BGT 1.04 and there is one thing that is very annoying. This is the experience I gain from memerising the spell from scroll. I don't want it to be as it is in BG2, like 1st level spell gives me 1k xp. Is there any way to set this thing? To modify it? So it could give me, let's say 10 xp, as it is in BGTuTu.

Regards, me.

Have a look here ... it rocks! http://www.pocketpla...p...0&Itemid=83

U can also reduce experience from creatures.

Install DefJam as the last of your mods please,

Thanks man. What kind of settings would you suggest, keep in mind that I'm a skilled player and know a lot about the Saga.

75/50/25/10 % seems to be the usual settings. If playing Drizzt Saga, you might want to make them even lower.

I'm playing a heavy BG1 modded part of the game. I did not receive ANY XP from scrolls, only 10% from lock picks & traps, and only 25% from creature. Please don't install the quest reductions 'cause it will give u errors if u have mods in your game.

I'm going to uninstall it completely at the beginning of BG2 but just 'cause i don't have BG2 mods in my game ... if u have CtB, SoS and TDD for example u may want to keep low your XP to have more challenge,

have fun and ... i did forget ... welcome :-)

Thanks a lot for replays.
But still, I got more questions, like what kind of mods would you like to propose me ? I'd like harsh ones (=

I think you will like SCS and DSotSC has some hard battles. And for your BG2 part of the game BP and/or SCS II will make the fights more interesting.

FOR BG1 i suggest also:

Secret of Bonehill (find it here at SHS)
The Grey Clan Episode I (look at blackwyrm forum)

The last has REALLY some HARD BATTLES!

Enjoy!

And if you might not want to look the same 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768 pixels all day, you might want to install the Widescreen mod. It should work perfectly with BG2's, even as it's a beta, as the mod should support all other IE game, when it's officially released.
