Actually, what I meant was; the only reason you manage to resemble Kivan is because he's such an girly little thing, as opposed to a bearded viking or such. .p

This actually took me a long time, my scanner just makes the quality worse T_T
It's actually the first time I really put time into drawing Kivan.

@ JAMoczo: I'd expect the dwarf to say "because I'm a dwarf, damn elf" but your idea was better than mine :D great Kagain.


Now for you horror (or viewing pleasure) I'm attaching my first sketch for this challenge. It took me 4 hours but since it looks like cr*p I scrapped it.
I've drawn a new (and much better) sketch in 1 hr and now it's waiting in my HD for me to color it

@ Aliya - he's not overcompensating for anything with that axe :rolleyes:

@ Epantrias - he not only be a dwarf, he be an EVIL dwarf! (why do they sound like pirates in my head? I have no idea. This is why I'm never a dwarf :D)
And that's a very nice sketch, but I think you ruined me because I keep expecting Epantrias the Charname to glomp him :D

He looks awesome, Sammi ^_^ I love the detailed way you made his eyes and hair. It's one of your best natural style drawings I've seen till now.

Working on this pic has been a pain in the *** but worth it... at least I hope ;-P

I digitally 'inked' pencil sketch instead of using my (un)trusted pen, then colored it with GIMP. I'm very proud of the background, I spent a whole afternoon examining every damned rotten tree and fallen leaf in my garden so I could draw them well o_O this could explain my sore throat.

His face is not 100% like the one you see in the game. His portrait is too 'human' so I tried to make him look a bit more 'elven'.

I failed at giving him any interesting gear v_v

Total time taken: 12 hours and 40 minutes :jawdrop: the original is 2129x1872 pixel wide.
